First timer here. So, I leave the office for a late lunch and head to a sandwich shop one of my coworkers insists has great food. I arrive, walk inside, instantly encompassed by a bustling eating area, very country dining experience (Lots of wood paneling and bench seating). The guests in front of me order and both parties seem cheery. I approach and present my order. The cashier seems displeased for some reason. I order a sandwich, she then looks away and asks with an exasperated inflection, if I want a mini or sub? I don't know what I did to have deserved this (mind you no one is behind me). There is no longer a lunch rush. I assume from looking around the room I may not be the average outside appearance patron. Maybe it's the southern hospitable way of interaction. I wait on my order standing to the side. All orders are yelled out by name. One bag sits on the counter. I realize it's mine and ask the counter assistant if that bag is mine. She says yes, it is. Maybe my name wasn't as easy to pronounce as the others. I guess my order was somehow supposed to reach me on its own accord. Needless to say, I was disappointed because the food was good and this could have potentially been a frequent lunchtime stop.

Read moreBeen coming to Hopkins for many many years... In town for the holidays and the better half had to have it. I didn't mind one bit, she ate this so much back in the early 2000's.
So this is the new location and it didn't disappoint one bit. Very cool and polite staff, good music and atmosphere. I checked out the photos on Google maps and someone posted "the spin". I like everything they're talking about from the feta cheese to olives and sun dried tomatoes that was only $1.50 extra for those 3 items. Then or first I should say is fresh spinach, cheddar cheese, sliced toasted almonds, mushrooms, sauteed onions, parmasen cheese, served grilled on muffaletta bread with ranch and Dijon mustard. My goodness I'm getting hungry again for one reading all that deliciousness.
My lovely Nicole had the chicken tetrazzini that instantly took me back to the year 1999. In it Delicious cashew chicken salad with linguine, mozzarella cheese, mushroom, fresh lettuce, tomato, onion, green pepper. Served with Italian dressing.
See you soon Hopkins eatery...
Read moreI was treated so rudely on the phone, the lady told me to "Hurry up because I have other people beeping in and don't have time for this." When I got to the store, I told the girl checking me out that the orders were going to be separate and she told me "of course they are, it's been that kind of day" and rolled her eyes. I was picking up food for everyone at my business and if we weren't so hungry I would've walked out right then. I explained to her that someone was rude to me over the phone and she was being rude in person and she shrugged it off. I didn't have time to stick around and complain, but I will never bring my business back to Hopkins, there are plenty of other places to get a...
