I found this place as I was getting ready to leave Tallahassee last night. I was a little skeptical to place an order since they were within an hour of closing time (and you know how that usually goes🙄), but I dreaded the thought of eating McDonalds or any of the other options that were OPEN and along my route. I must say I was PLEASANTLY surprised. The food was awesome… As was my experience. I had the “Street Pita” and some Feta Fries, which my “picky eater” son tasted and took upon himself to eat most of! Lol. The restaurant was clean and even though they were closing, everyone still had great attitudes, were very helpful and didn’t make me feel rushed at all… like some places do when it’s that time. Latrice (sp) at the counter was MOST helpful, both when I called after placing my order and when I arrived at the restaurant. I even witnessed her helping the customer right before me and I must say that she’s definitely the customer service type that we are missing in Valdosta!! You guys did a great job picking her as an employee👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾 I can’t wait to visit Tallahassee again to try some of the...
Read moreKairos used to be a "5 Star" in my book but sadly, that has recently changed. The food is still excellent, but the service has become more prejudicial. Which is the only way I know how to explain it. Every time I have gone, I always get the same thing. The Kairos Bowl with the exact same ingredients. Now, when I order online, the bowl is fuller. When I order in person, the bowl is less full. When this first happened, I thought they must have had someone who was new working the line when I came in. This happened next week as well. Went in, and they were again very greedy with the ingredients. The next three I ordered online, and the bowls were all much fuller than when I ordered in person. Then, because I did not want to assume the worst, I went in and ordered a to-go. Sadly, they did everything they could to give as little as they could. I can only assume I am not the only one who experiences this, but I am sad that I experienced discrimination at a fast-casual...
Read moreI went here based on the recommendation of a local vegan Facebook group. I had NO idea this place even existed because I live on the other side of town. I decided to try it for lunch today. I placed my order online (BYOB with too many ingredients to list, but the falafel was fantastic!) The order was ready by the time I reached the restaurant (less than 10 minutes). It was a rainy day today, so I chose to sit outside under the covered seating where no one was. It was quiet, peaceful, and above-all, delicious. I would equate this bowl to a Mediterranean version of Chipotle. Flavors are all very good, ingredients are all very fresh, and for the money ($11.28 after taxes) it was VERY much worth it. I will absolutely be going back again, and again, and again. My only gripe is the fact there isn't a location closer to me 😂 but I'll gladly make the trip...
