Island Wing Company, a sports bar hidden away off of Thomasville road serves traditional bar food with an interesting twist, nothing there is fried, it's all baked! If you enjoy large crowds, loud people, and fun, then this the place for you. With a TV and a remote at every table, and occasional live singers, there is no limit to entertainment options at this establishment. We started the meal off the Hawaiian BBQ Nachos, loaded with Chicken, Chunks of Pineapple, and Cole Slaw, topped with Queso and a sweet and tangy BBQ sauce. Usually, this dish comes loaded with jalapenos, but we opted out. The entrees we tried were 10 Traditional Wings: 5 Jerk Spice and 5 Buffalo Kiwi, Buffalo Mac and Cheese, and a Mac and Cheese burger served with fries. The Jerk Spice was a dry rub on the wings. It tasted sugary and left grains on your lips that had a soothing effect. The Buffalo Kiwi had an interesting flavor, a little too fruit-forward for our taste. The Buffalo Mac and Cheese was great and was elevated by adding ranch dipping sauce. The Mac and Cheese burger is where the restaurant could have done better. The flavor itself was good, the mac and cheese was creamy which paired well with the medium-well burger, but it was served lukewarm as a result of the long wait. The fries had an interesting combination of spices to give them their flavor which paired well with the fact that they were baked instead of fried. We finished our meal with a delicious slice of White Chocolate Raspberry Cheesecake. It could have been served colder, but was delicious nonetheless. It was served with whipped cream and a wonderfully tart sauce that paired well with the decadent cheesecake. Our experience at Island Wing Company was one that was enjoyable but could have been helped with quicker service. Despite that, the food was good and our waitress was friendly and attentive which left us wanting to come back. -Bradley and Charles, Two friends who...

Read moreMy wife and I came here the other evening. It was my first time coming, and her second time ever being here. We wanted wings, and years ago, when this place opened, they used to have a wing challenge. Unfortunately, that is no longer in effect. You can, however, get their scorpion sauce (for an extra $3), which is the sauce used for the challenge in the past. Anyhow. Cayla was our server, and she was absolutely great. Very friendly, super helpful and informative, and patient as we decided what we wanted. Throughout the meal, she did a wonderful job of being attentive without being overbearing or intrusive. Together, we got 20 wings and a basket of fries, as well as a Buffalo chicken dip for an appetizer. We got our toddler Mac n' cheese and some cooked veggies. I got the scorpion sauce and spicy garlic teriyaki, and my wife got the peppery Polynesian and BBQ. The wings were crips and freshly cooked. All the sauces were good on the wings. The scorpion sauce is extremely hot, not for the faint of heart or beginners, but for a real chili head, they have a great flavor without any extract taste. The teriyaki garlic wings were a great way to cool down the heat of the other wings and have a sticky sweet heat to them. The Polynesian sauce was sweet, and according to my wife, "Had a little heat." The BBQ tasted like basic, run of the mill BBQ, but no complaints on those. Fries were hot and crispy. Restaurant and bathrooms were clean. All around was a good experience, albeit a bit pricey. I can see us coming back here again, and I would definitely recommend this place. They have a great variety of foods and sauces for...
