So I haven't been yet, and probably won't be going unless I can get a good reason for why they charge extra for brazilian for plus size women? No explanation of what plus size means to them, or why they are charging more for the same work, I'm getting this info from their website. I'm a cosmetologist, I know how pricing works, I know what product cost is like, and I know how much additional product is used on a straight size v.s. plus size person, and I would never charge more. It's not a lot, its ten bucks more, but what that says to me is that I, as a plus size person, am not really welcome there. This isn't like coloring hair that is longer, we're talking about human bodies. What exactly constitutes plus size to you guys, and how do you think it makes your clients feel when you don't even specify that? I now have to either call you guys, and ask what weight and height counts as plus size, and then take the chance of going in and having you then say I'm too fat for the price that was quoted? Honestly I'm just sad about this, it seems like they are really knowledgeable, and good at what they do, and I wanted to go here, but now I'm not sure I'd be welcome. Please consider changing how you word your services, even if you feel the need to keep the prices the same, you might be losing a lot of customers. (for the record, my Brazilian area has been the same size weather I was a size 6, or a size 14, so like, genuinely, what are you...
Read moreI came here right before my wedding. Booked direct, no Groupons. I was confused and went up and downstairs many times as she was running late and the staff didn’t know who I was waiting for. They cut hair upstairs and wax downstairs. The privacy is nice, I will say. I made it clear it was my first wax ever, and I was utterly horrified when my waxer said (at the time), that they’d been waxing for only nine months. This experience was so bad, I cried on the table from pain. I cried in the car. I had wax everywhere and had to throw away my panties because they didn’t get the wax off everywhere (I didn’t even wax the bikini area). It was so painful, the girl clearly had never worked with thick ethnic hair, and there was SO MUCH hair still left, half broken, or not removed at all. It took over an hour past the scheduled time and I felt bad and just tipped anyway. This experience definitely turned me off from this business but also waxing in general. Also, she was at least 10 minutes late to the appointment. This happened a year ago, and am just now remembering to post a review. The wax was also too hot. She did her best but I don’t recommend any women of...
Read moreI am shook! I won’t lie, when I first walked in I was kind of skeptical, only because I am an anxious person and not having anyone to greet me or tell me where to go gave me anxiety. BUT, after that, once I found my way, STEPHANIE WAS AMAZING. My sister and I had both booked waxes, at different places. She said hers was level 10 pain and warned me that i’m gonna be miserable. After my wax, I called her and was so confused because it didn’t hurt. I had a couple grimaces but that was it, i’d rate my pain level a 3 out of 10. I kept saying I dont think she even waxed me because i feel like i should be in more pain. I checked when i got home, she’s definitely waxed and she did an AMAZING PERFECT job. Not a hair in site. I’m shook. I am still laughing because I feel like it should’ve been more painful. She knows what she’s doing too cause it was super quick, 20 min wax. SOLD. I will def recommend anyone to come here. Stephanie was also so relatable and kind in the room. It’s always scary going to a new wax lady for a brazilian but she was great,...
