The King Buffet on Redwood Road, I do try to make it a weekly family night out and sometimes will go to their other location on State Street. But it's wonderful to see people coming in to enjoy Chinese food where there's a lot of foot traffic and it's great to see that so the chef can constantly cook fresh food when they are out of certain dishes. Other Chinese Buffet, their dishes be sitting too long and stale and you'll have a bad dinning experience. I decided not to post pics on what dishes they have as it's what they usually serve at every Chinese restaurants but do take a look at other peoples review. There are two thing I do notice between the 2 location is the Redwood location will have the stir fried calamari while the State Street don't have calamari and second, the State Street location has slice yellow onions at the Mongolian stir fried while the Redwood location doesn't which don't make sense but maybe people like calamari on the Redwood location so they serve it there. What makes King Buffet stand out, is the price and selection of dishes as you getting the best bang for ya buck with inflation being as bad but for $16.95 for each adults, its well worth its price for admission. Please keep in mind, I do notice a "2 hour limit" to eat posted sign on their menu board but I didnt have a feeling the place would kick you out for over staying more than 2 hours eating or/and even socializing as it would make their customer uncomfortable and put them in an awkward spot not to lose customers that be their regulars or even have a bad rep and eventually bad business to scare away future customers that want to enjoy the dinning experience . Hopefully, in the future, they can remodel the interior of the restaurant in the future to keep the place looking fresh as time will tell before it gets dull and old. The booth seat cushion is getting worn out and showing its age at some point I do notice and their table can bit slippery(your food plate can move like a puck if your not careful when trying to eat your food). Don't let their negative flaw discourage you from coming over here as their staffing/server was top notch checking on us consistently and taking our empty plates when we are done eating and refilling our drinks if needed. Did i mention there's no chocolate fountain or ice cream machine(State Street location has it). You could easily spend over $40 or more for a couple of Chinese food dishes at a regular Chinese restaurant that's not all-you-can-eat and still be hungry, so I do RECOMMEND you give it a try and I...

I don't visit this place frequently but I like it because the food is not bad, however, my experience the last couple of times has been bad (having the same issue both times).

Today me and my family (wife and 4 children) were sat in a room where most of the people looked like they were done eating and just enjoying a good conversation, after 20-30 minutes everyone else in the room were gone, except us. At this point, when I got back from getting food my wife told me the waitresses kept looking at our table impatiently. I didn't care. around 10 minutes after I left and when I came back everyone had fortune cookies (good bye cookies, right?) and the ticket, I didn't care, I still wanted to eat. So I put my card along with my ticket and kept eating. A couple of waitresses came too close to my table as if looking for something, I tried to ignore them, but the "we want you to leave now" message was to clear, so I hurried eating a little bit more off my plate. So the instant I moved my plate away from me, a waitress pick it up from the table (it still had food in it), it was like one sync motion: I move my plate away, still pushing it away when the waitress picks it up, yeah, that weird, and that "leave now"-ish. Some of the kids were actually still getting up from their chairs, my wife getting her purse, and I was unbuckling my 2 yrs old from the high chair when they were already picking up stuff from the table. Wow.

By the way, at some point, after everyone but us had leaved the room, even the manager came and and took a look at us. So I imply he was the one behind the "hurry 'em out" situation... So I complained directly to him on our way out and he completely, quickly and accurately understood what I was talking about, he even made an "I'm surprised" face and told me "we don't rush people". Yeah, I don't buy it.

Probably will never visit this...

My family and I were really looking forward to dine in this buffet. Then we finally had the chance to give it a try. Let me just be straightforward, we had the worst experience ever! Just a heads up to EVERYONE , you don't pay upon entering, you pay after, that way they can charge what ever they feel like it. They charged my two kids as adults, because they want to. Our bill came out to be over $100 for a family of 5, (todler didnt eat anything but still charged for him) I really dont mind paying over $100 for my family, heck i would not mind paying over $200, if the food and service was good. The place was dirty & smelly, because no one cleans the place. It was packed, But they should hire people to clean the place around. Food was not good at all. Flavorless, cold, and some was even under cooked. No orange chicken. Instead they had pineapple chicken which was not cooked well, and had no flavor. No one came to the table and offered refills on drinks, you literally had to go chase them to ask them for a refill. My family and I walked out very un satisfied. We hardly ate the food, and will NOT return ever again. Please make sure you really consider elsewhere to eat, don't waste your well earned money on...

It is a fascinating place to have a good time to share a good time with family and friends, I like the salad bars, the bar of sauces and vegetables everything is in a very well adapted way to give you a unique way to prepare your portions and ready to be cooked by the swordsmen the cooks lp do very fast to be very friendly efficient in the service, it is usually crowded with a good line of people to be prepared and cooked and plaitllo but it is worth the wait you will like much elligar, the service to your table is very good always at all times attentive in serving us, I give a long description and five stars because it is really worth all the very good pasamo everything was excellent. Visitalos you will like it I recommend it. Especially the source of chocolate is very tasty fres chocolate-covered strawberries I love you know you can enjoy a nice time the bathrooms are clean that is very good I regret only that if you are busy enough and you will have to wait a moment but then to enjoy slip It's worth the wait so come and try it for yourself, I give it five stars ⭐️ ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ and a good description because it was worth a lot everything was excellent.

It’s not perfect but it’s enjoyable and they have all of the classics. It’s great Chinese American fare with sushi and a Mongolian grill. Great options for kids, too! Things like pizza, fresh fruit, and fries. They always keep the food well-stocked and hot. There is a ton of selection and the restaurant is huge. Even if you’re going at a busy time, you’ll be seated quickly. They are one of the few places in the valley that has egg drop soup, with no noodles, extras, etc, which I love. Every time we me been, servers have been very on the ball about refilling drinks, which is key to a good experience for us. As for value, I think it’s mostly worth the price, but it’s a little pricey, which is why I have given four out of five stars. If you are a big seafood eater, you’ll definitely get your money’s worth. Pro tip: try the chicken sushi. It’s a traditional maki roll with chicken tenders and lettuce, topped with spicy mayo. It’s wrong in all of the right ways.
