Tecumseh City Park — Attraction in Tecumseh

The walking trail is well maintained and great. The improvements that they have made at the park are great. The splash pad is small and well kept. The bathrooms leave a lot to be desired. The skate park has a lot of teens there that pretty much keep to themselves and do not cause any issues with other patrons of the park. This is NOT the case with a park in Shawnee. The fenced in area for smaller kids to play is a plus and helps busy moms keep multiple toddlers safe in a smaller area. Nice new feature is a charge a learn area provided by Pioneer Library System. Barnard Elementary School took the 2nd grade classes 2day and I have twin grandsons that r in separate classes... So we spent a good amount of time there 2day... We had a really good day... Our 20mon old had a blast with ALLL the kids (and he didn't get hurt), they were ALLL very careful with him around... But he had fun going down the slide with his big brother... He also rode thetrain (4 a lil bit... Then got scared and had 2 b taken off) ... But all in all we had a really good day... My other grandson will b...

I've been coming to that Park first with my children and now my grandchildren for 30 years. It's a wonderful asset to Tecumseh. However the skateboard park needs repairs they probably need to clean up the creek a little bit more and it's sad that the rocket has been sealed shut. I heard that for people that like to get high that just makes them higher LOL but children everywhere love to climb that rocket. Shame on the few teenagers/whomever that ruined it for everyone.
