I wanted to find a barber closer to home and with that hometown barber feel. I am also very particular about my hair, and I went into this barber shop with high expectations. I entered the shop as a new client without a referral or an appointment. The shop was very clean and well organized. A client entered the shop before me and was greeted and seated promptly by a male barber. I seated myself in the waiting area just alongside the door expecting to patiently wait. However, before I could pull my phone out of my pocket to pass the time, Misty came around the corner and greeted me. As I sat in her chair, I noticed military memorabilia. I asked her if she knew what a medium regulation hair cut was, she didn't understand the term. However, I explained the type of hair cut I was desiring from her. Let me tell you folks, this lady knows her way around a pair of sheers! As the hair went flying like a scene from Edward Scissor Hands, I knew right then that Misty is not just a barber she is an artist! As the hair cut came to a conclusion Misty touched up all the hair lines, made sure I was completely happy with the length of the hair, and even went over my beard line making sure it looked good with the hair cut! Well, first the good. They're extremely friendly and beyond hospitable. Now, the actual services. Not so good. The cuts are basic and rushed through without attention to detail. Far too willing to do the least amount of work for a very overpriced service. Both my sons & my hair have missed areas, divots and spots that weren't touched up or edged properly. No straight edge neck and edge shave to finish up, not offered gel to ensure it looks the way it should when styled, and still charged the same as those professionals who do. So, as much as they are very nice, we won't return to overpay for a very basic service that you can get for $12 at a Mall. I am accustomed to a top level real Barber but this...

If I could give it zero stars I would. DON'T GO HERE! Got my son running around looking like a clown... Never seen anyone cut hair so so horrible. she was acting like she was in a race or something. Not even pretending to care. Sadly I showed her a picture of HIM in the exact hair cut I wanted....and she didn't even try to do anything close to it!!! when I said something about how it looked awful she stated she was gonna lock the door before I had came in and that maybe she should have and a few other impolite thoughts she had.
