Bamboo Garden Restaurant — Restaurant in Tecumseh

Every time I've gotten food here, it's been wonderful. I order to pick up through the Beyond Menu app, and the food is always fresh and delicious. On top of that, the cashier is always kind. I haven't had a bad experience with them. Also, with everything going on, they've taken big precautions for safety. They installed this whole thing at the register with a plastic barrier and two little hatches you can pay and get your food through with no physical human contact. Currently my favorite restaurant. Best Chinese food around, especially when you consider that the closest other options are in Shawnee, and even then, they barely compare to Bamboo Garden's quality. I hate leaving a bad review but, this place has gone down hill the last couple years. This used to be our favorite place to eat. Although when you dine in, you are usually waited on by children. That always bothered me, but the food was always good. The last 4 times over the past year we have ordered food, literally we end up throwing it away. Last night I had sweet and sour chicken and the chicken was leather trying to chew. The crab ragoon was old and soggy. My husband had Kung Pao Chicken he said had zero flavor. $60 for food to feed my dogs! Maybe they upgraded the children from waiters to the cooks now?! Idk but the food is just nasty now. On God,no cap,for real the absolute best Chinese food I have had in the state,I have had quite a bit of Chinese food across Oklahoma and it shows if you see me lol,let go into what's so good about this place. A quiet and simplistic atmosphere that feels peaceful and nice. The portions are huge and very cheap. The food is awesome,my main meal when I go here is the beef lo mien with crab Rangoons and it smacks(very yummy). The kids are always smiling when you come in and are well mannered and funny.
