The apartment I moved into had several problems initially, but the staff seemed nice, and I chalked it up as just having been lived in. My front door knob was loose, the deadbolt lock would hangup, the stove drip pans were somewhat dirty, the carpet had a few stains and was thin and smashed, every hinge squeaked, and underneath the bathroom sink there was a small drip. My experience for the past year: I was locked out of my house due to the faulty lock, and charged $25 to replace it and the knob, I've been forced to replace the drip pans on the stove-top. I've replaced the blinds, twice, at my expense. If management decides carpets need cleaning, they hire a professional crew, and you receive the bill on your next months rent. I've received monthly inspection slips with things as petty as a light bulb being out. I oiled all the hinges myself, but the small drip still persists under the bathroom sink. I hope they don't charge me for the bathroom cabinet which has been damaged from the drip. The pool opens late into the summer and closes early in the hot season, which then turns green with no cover to at least hide the ugly thing. The grounds are littered at times. They don't always change out the air filters monthly. The apartments are micro-managed and quick to judge, which appears to be the only thing they are quick about, that, and charging you numerous fees. Half the time they can't even write up an accurate receipt for the rent payed, so watch your statement, because I've found multiple simple math mistakes. Incompetent, unwelcoming management and staff with little to no people skills. Its seems as if they are there to take your rent check (and whatever else they can squeeze from you), and not be bothered with holding up their responsibilities and contractual agreement per the lease or laws that...
Read moreI’m writing this review after living here for 1 month now. I didn’t know what to expect since I have never lived in apartment before and I’m 53. The best part of my experience here so far has been with the new apartment manager, Danielle. She is knowledgeable of her duties and just so very kind. She was very thorough during the application process and move-in and she was so easy to communicate with. Any concerns I had, she addressed them immediately. Also, the grounds of the complex have been well maintained and looking very nice. Danielle has been informative to all tenants thru group text regarding things such as on site pest control, inspections and air filter maintenance, as well as community services available regarding Wi-Fi…so I think she is really doing an amazing job communicating with us all and you can tell she really cares about the tenants that live here. I am also pleasantly surprised how peaceful it is here, especially at night by 10 pm it is so quiet. I live in the area of the main courtyard and the neighbors I have met so far are all so nice too. If your family is looking for affordable housing and a safe environment don’t hesitate to visit Stonebridge Apartments. Ask for...
