Its packed in here. Mostly casuals, some moderate enthusiasts, and a few weightlifters atm. Gold's Gym has better cardio machines, but here has more so lesser competition. Understandable tradeoff ๐ค๐ป
You can join a 1yr plan for $9.99/mo. You're on the hook for a year.
Basic membership- $15.99/mo gets you the equipment out in the front, besides specialized rooms.
Premium membership- $24.99 gets you Hiit room, squat room, cinema room, Co-ed sauna and steam room. Outdoor workout facility.
More membership- $29.99 gets you something and a recuperating room which has IR sauna, zero gravity chair, hydro massage, compression boots, and a bunch of vibrating toys. The 3 small IR saunas in here are co-ed as well, but you'll find few ppl here and you have 3 rooms to choose, so it's a good choice for people that prefer privacy.
Last tier $50/mo includes a child daycare area.
Besides the $9.99/mo, these plans can be canceled 10 days prior to the next payment.
They have a nice turfed-indoor-area to do stretches, yoga, and calisthenics. No more sliding around when doing planks ๐ There's plenty of ppl doing calisthenics here so its pretty cool, but expect to get pushed to the outside area (if you have More) because theres too many ppl inside. You'll see ppl doing handstands, hanging, pull-ups, and lots of planks. Some dudes occasionally spin around on the pull-ups which is pretty cool.
They also have a large mirror room for workout and classes. So far i've seen bodypump and zumba.
This place is fitted with equipment that is meant for heavy lifters, body sculptors, and Hiit ppl so it's good for intermediate trainees and gym bros/gals.
They have a juice bar I haven't tried yet because it's cold in here ๐ฅถ
Things I bought at Chuze: Towel - $19 (used to be 17๐ณ) Lock -$17 Bottle of water - $3 Skullcandy earphones - $28 (good speaker, no bass, battery life 1hr30min-1hr50min when at max)
I'm a big fan of gold's gyms rope pulling machine. This one here is lacking. A few Roman chair ab equipments would be nice. Battle rope is light. This is my personal pet peeve because it's very specific to my interest. BUT, I do really like the tire flip machine and power sled. They are amazing for full body workout. My only problem with tire flip is that 60lb is the max. I can't find heavier weights thats small enough to fit in the machine. ๐ค
Cinema Room - You might need to go to this room for treadmills if outside is completely full. This is premium room so lesser ppl come in here. The 4-5 treadmills in here can be filled up too fyi
They heard my complaint and installed towel hooks in the shower. They installed 2 in each room to make a point ๐ณ๐ Still not a fan of the rain shower heads because pressurized water is great for massaging the shoulder and neck after "working out", but quality of life has been improved ๐ Water could be hotter.
Shampoo and soap are not provided. Bring your own or just wash up at the gym and then shower at home.
If you prefer lesser ppl, Friday-Sunday is like half the crowd. The only issue is that those days close early as well, so to your own discretion.
Do I recommend this place? Yes. It's definitely better than LA Fitness in terms of cleanliness and organization. If you want to go hard, you can go pretty hard here. I complained a lot, but overall, the place is pretty nice. Don't forget...
ย ย ย Read moreIt started off great then today ended horribly bad out of a small issue that the staff actually escalated and didn't have to now my membership is revoked because of a collective set up and the lady who was dealing with me was rude and kept putting words in my mouth and embellished the whole situation as if she wanted to create an issue or was paid to do it like she really wanted a problem as if it was personal and I don't even know her and then i barely had an interaction with the other staff prior to her speaking to me. But during a time right now where everyone's antsy from what's going on in LA I don't expect anything less from the staff I was dealing with, I still have to speak to a manager about the unnecessary escalation however it's been a real targeted situation and they are supposedly grown they know EXACTLY what they were doing even if they don't admit it for fear of getting into trouble and having to actually take responsibility for their true intentional actions as adults.
In response to your reply your local team is of no real quality and most definitely lacking mature leadership and if I were you all I would screen who I hire alot better especially if your going to be calling them leaders, there more like followers in a literal sense and to immature to do that job around true leaders and people of importance, they took their chance to use me to be seen to mess with me for clout entertainment and immature reasons, finding another gym is irrelevant to what you all lacked and I shouldn't be bullied out of a facility with no resolve or understanding, I've worked at 5 gyms in socal and had my own clients as a personal trainer and I've never seen such immature actions from gym staff as I seen lately it's disrespectful, especially with the Hispanic male staff and your business will be affected for messing with...
ย ย ย Read moreI recently had the opportunity to visit the brand new Chuze gym, and I must say, I was thoroughly impressed. As one would expect from a newly opened gym, it was clean, well-maintained, and had top-of-the-line equipment.
During my tour, I was shown the various areas of the gym and was pleased to see that they had all the best equipment available. The gym offers different membership plans, and I opted for the $29.00 plan, which provides access to the extra fitness and training rooms. This was definitely worth the upgrade for me. Additionally, they also have a message room, which is a fantastic bonus.
One of the unique features that I really loved was the outdoor yard workout area. It was great to have the option to work out in the fresh air. However, it's worth noting that this area closes one hour before the gym's closing time, so plan accordingly.
During the tour, I was accompanied by Eddie, who took excellent care of me. He was knowledgeable about the gym and its facilities, and he patiently explained how everything operates. His guidance made me feel comfortable and confident about joining Chuze gym.
Overall, my initial experience at Chuze gym has been excellent. The combination of their extensive equipment selection, additional fitness rooms, and the outdoor workout area make it a standout gym. Eddie's assistance and the general cleanliness of the gym were also noteworthy.
As I continue to attend the gym over the coming months, I will be sure to update my review. But for now, I highly recommend Chuze gym for anyone in search of a clean, well-equipped, and welcoming fitness facility.
