STAY AWAY FROM THIS HOTEL. I booked this room through a third party website for two nights for almost $300. When I arrived, I was surprised at the condition of the exterior of the building and that the lobby was closed and only a window was open. It wasn’t even 10pm yet. My room was 123 and it was disgusting and filthy. The room smelled like urine and feces. The drapes were moldy, furniture was broken, stains on linens, and room had cockroaches. I’ve never seen a room so disgusting. I immediately notified the front desk that I couldn’t stay in that room and asked for a refund. The front desk clerk was friendly and said because I booked through a third party, he could not refund me and offered room 117. He said that housekeeping sometimes doesn’t do a good job preparing the room. I looked at the second room and thought we could stay and agreed. But after inspecting the room further, it was just as bad. The only thing that was better was the smell. But similar to room 123, the drapes were moldy, furniture was broken, stains on linens, and room had cockroaches and the bathtub was peeling and the entire room was uninhabitable. I just couldn’t stay in the room and was scared to even sit on the beds. It was that filthy. I called the third party site and they said it was a pay later booking which means the hotel has to process the refund which was not what I was initially told. So, I went to the front again, apologized and told them I couldn’t stay at the hotel and advised them of what the third party booking informed me of. Both gentlemen looked disappointed but said they understood and I would be refunded in the morning when the manager gets in. That was on 12/30 and still no refund. I called the third party site today and the hotel told them they could not refund me both nights and they have to talk to a manager. I called them directly this morning and still no manager available. I asked to speak to the owner Dinesh Ghandhi or Vijay Ghandhi but was told he was not in the office. They still continue to refuse my refund despite the poor conditions. I informed the person o spoke to that I would post a review and contact the owner but he didn’t care. The person I spoke to this morning was totally different from the two gentleman that was on the property. He acted like he didn’t know who those two people were, even though he knows who was on. site during those days. This is a family owned business so they know everything. I have photos of the rooms condition and I’m shocked that this hotel expects anyone to stay in these rooms. They are filthy and make you feel gross immediately upon entering the rooms. Do not book this room and if they tell you that you will receive a refund make sure you get a receipt or written confirmation prior to departing. For the record, we did not use the room or any of the facilities. We simply walked into the room and politely asked for a refund. Nothing was used. I will contact Dinesh Ghandhi and the health department because the rooms are deplorable. Very unsatisfied customer.

I would rather sleep in my car , or some bushes then stay here again, you could not pay me to stay at this “motel”. I’ve stayed at plenty low budget hotels, I don’t need luxury or something boujie and am very understanding. But this is literally the worst hotel I’ve ever stayed in, seriously do not stay here 1. The lobby should of been a sign for me to cancel right then and there, smelled like mildew and the aged orange chairs covered in black grime look like the were literally picked out of a dump. 2. Upon entering the room there were scratches and blotches of worn paint all over the ugly maroon/rust colored walls, 3. My shoes stuck to the floor to the point you could hear every step you take as you pulled your shoes off the sticky floors. 4. The light fixtures above the bed were rusted and also looked like they were salvaged from a dump. The one lamp that did work was covered in rust, make sure you have your tetanus shots up to date. 5. Counter tops were covered in beverage rings/stains ( we hd to go out and by Clorox wipes to wipe em down before placing our stuff on them 6. Non smoking room , yet there were ash stains on the toilet seat, 7. Literally urnine in the bathtub , as if someone peed in the tub , and didn’t bother to rinse it down. 8. We went out and bought our own sheets and pillows to cover the matteress, and still woke up bit up by bed bugs on my arm 9. Roches in the bathroom 10. No wifi and the tv had no signal 11. I was told upon checking in there’s a $100 security deposit ( Wich was never mentioned on the booking site) , that would be returned to my card immediately after checking out. 2 days later I hd to call and ask about it because it was still not returned yet. They comment how sorry they are and how they’ll look into improving it but obviously that’s a joke. I’m 100% positive they literally don’t even clean the rooms. Will never stay here again, this motel needs shut down and im seriously considering filing a civil suit for false advertising and puting my health at risk. I don’t care how cheap it may be , DO NOT MAKE THE MISTAKE OF STAYING HERE, you will be pissed you avtuallly paid money to stay in this dump.

This is the worst motel/hotel I’ve ever stayed at and it’s not close. First off it’s “smoke free” but the room smelled strongly of cigarette smoke (so did the rooms of other members of my sports team who also stayed here). When we first got here it took like an hour for all of us to check in. When we got our keys, one never worked. After a day the other key stopped working and we had to get it re scanned. A day later that key stopped working and we went down and waited in line for like 10 minutes to get it re-scanned. It still didn’t work after getting re scanned the first time, so we had to go back and get in line for a second time to get it re scanned. We went and tried it after the second re-scan and it still didn’t work so we had to go wait in line again for ten or fifteen minutes. It worked after the third re-scan. The whole process took probably about an hour, so we couldn’t get into our room for about an hour because of that whole fiasco. Finally, one of my teammates parents asked for a refund on their room because they wouldn’t stay in it because of how absolutely terrible it was, and the employees wouldn’t give them a refund because they booked through Expedia. Below is a list of things wrong with my room or a teammates room: *Missing smoke detector *Heavy smell of cigarette smoke in non-smoking rooms *Room that smelled like sewage *Missing lamp *Cockroaches or other bugs throughout the room *3 pillows for a four person room and they said they couldn’t give us another pillow *Dirty floors *Crack in wall *Blood stains Pretty much the only good thing I can say about this place is they had a very friendly and kind worker at the front desk. I would never ever ever recommend this place. My teammates and I will be contacting corporate to ask for a refund or compensation for the terrible experience, I will update this review with the results.

Google will not allow me to give ZERO stars. This was the WORST hotel experience of my entire life! A literal nightmare and I hope this serves as a stark warning to anyone considering this location! First off, I booked the reservation through the Hopper app and when we arrived, which was just before midnight, the attendant at the window, who was extremely unprofessional and unpleasant to work with, told me that there was no such reservation in their system. I was told that I needed to pay 100$ refundable deposit fee plus pay the room fee of $71.31 effectively paying TWICE for a reservation at this hotel. I was also not given any kind of receipt/invoice for my credit card charge. I was traveling with one other adult and a minor child. We were placed into a room on the first level. That's really when the nightmare began. The first red flag was that the door itself was extremely difficult to open after unlocking it and upon opening the door we were hit in the face by an extremely strong cigarette odor. I was not asked if I wanted to be placed into a smoking room. I proceeded to inspect the room as I would any other hotel room that I pay money for--checking for bed bugs to which there were none but the bed stunk and it appeared that the bedding was dirty and the bed was just made reusing the dirty sheets. The bathroom was disgusting. The tub was horrific rust and mold everywhere. Although there were no bed bugs that I could see in/on the mattress there were ROACHES running rampant. Within 5 minutes I was back at the attendant window to request a room change-- I was met with hostility and more unpleasant service. I explained that this was completely unacceptable and that I could not have my minor child in this room. The attendant finally agreed with moving us-- we were moved to a second floor unit in the second building on the premisses. Walking around the buildings and through the staircase was sickening. The stench of urine and overflowing trash cans permeated the air. It was clear that this building was both actively being "renovated" but neglected simultaneously. We were given a room that was recently "renovated"-- the floors where disgusting. Obviously had never been cleaned before or after the construction. There were roaches running rampant in this room as well. The bedding looked and smelled filthy. It was at this point (roughly ten minutes passed as we were also trying to contact the Hopper app support) that the other adult and I decided that it was a safety and health hazard to stay there. We went back to the service window and I requested the cancellation to which again I was met with even more hostility and was reprimanded for not coming back to the window within 5 minutes. Please note that I was still never given a receipt for the charge made to my credit card by this location and was just given a very insincere "sorry for the inconvenience". I would never recommend this location to anyone ever. STAY FAR AWAY FROM THIS PLACE IF YOU VALUE YOUR HEALTH AND SAFETY. DO NOT BE LURED IN BY THE "LOW" RATES....

ROACH INFESTED ROOM!!! When I checked into my room, the lights were on and the AC was running. When I went to bed, I turned out the lights and crawled under the blanket. I woke up at about 130 am to use the bathroom. I turned on the bathroom light, and looked down at the floor. It was CRAWLING with hundreds of roaches!!! Lucky for ME, I keep my suitcase zipped up tight and off the floor!!! I got dressed, loaded my vehicle and headed for the office. I explained to the lady that was working what happened. No offer to switch rooms or refund!!! All I was told was, “I’ll tell the general manager in the morning.” I will not recommend or suggest this property to anyone, including my worst enemy. Don’t let the fact that it’s across the road from the fairgrounds or down the road from the casino, because I’ll bet you’ll take the roaches home when you leave - German roaches - about the hardest to get rid of. When I started to write this review, I noticed Google says “92 others have mentioned roaches!!!” Update: 8/29/2023 - Red Roof issued refund for price of room, but not taxes/resort fees. Refund was $125 of $153 total. The REST of the story tells you the level of SCUMBAGS you are dealing with at this hotel: Red Roof Inn issued a refund of $125 of the original amount the charged the card the day I checked into the room, but THE DAY AFTER they issued THAT refund, they charged the credit card I reserved the room with!!! THESE SCUMBAGS AT THIS RED ROOF INN CHARGED ME TWICE, THE TOTAL AMOUNT!!! So, now, not only have they screwed me out of the original, $153.21, they screwed me a second time for the same amount for a ROACH INFESTED HOTEL ROOM!!! By the reviews on GOOGLE of this hotel, they not only DON'T use pest control, they have NEVER HEARD of IT!!! AVOID THIS HOTEL CHAIN AT YOUR OWN DEMISE!!! To 'MANAGEMENT', I say READ MY REVIEW!!! YOUR STAFF OFFERED NO SOLUTION TO THE ROACH INFESTATION OTHER THAN, "I Will tell the manager in the morning!" YOUR HOTEL IS A FILTHY CESSPOOL!!!

TO ANY BODY THAT READS THESE REVIEWS, PLEASE NOTE THAT THE "MANAGEMENT RESPONSE" TO EVERY COMPLAINT IS EXACTLY THE SAME: "On your next stay, should you have any issues while with us, please contact our front desk immediately so we can take care of the issue to ensure you're comfortable. At Red Roof, it is our intention to have your confidence in our abilities to prevent similar problems in the future. Please know that we value you as our guest and appreciate your business. Thank you for sharing your concerns and I hope you will give us the opportunity to better serve you at Red Roof the next time your travel plans require lodging. They won't do ANYTHING but 'cut and paste' a response to any negative review...
