Yesterday I came in with my family party of 11 & 2 babies with strollers. It was around 3pm & restaurant was not busy at all. The table was tight but we made it work. As we sat down my father asked for a pitcher while we waited for the rest of the party to show up. Once everyone got to the table the server started taking our drink Orders (4-5 sodas) & waters for everyone, and at the same time she started taking our food order as well. I know taking an order from a large party isn't easy so thanked her for her patience. She repeated the order & sounded right. After she left & ringed in all the food, we waited patiently. almost 20 min after she took the order we still didn't have any drink, waters or my dads pitcher. I had to get up and reminded her we were still waiting for my dads pitcher, waters & sodas. When I got to the table our food was coming out. It was a lot of food, so I can only imagine it took 20-25 min just to make it & our food beat our waters &pitcher order. I still didn't complain. We had a couple things missing from the order so we had to reorder them with our server. Still didn't complain. I also had to get up & remind her of the second pitcher we order after the 1st pitcher was done. The manager even passed by after we got our food to ask if everything was good, & we said yes, because we were trying to cut her some slack taking care of an 11 top. The food was good no complaints there. My dad asked for the bill. & when she came, she only had the toast machine, no receipt! I told her we need to get the paper to make sure we weren't getting charged twice for the stuff we were missing. She gave me the bill & I looked at the bill to make sure everything was good, it was. As some of my other family members are pulling cash out to tip her 20% regardless of the service we had. Which we proceeded to tell her, we'll tip cash. My dad 60 year old man pays on the toast & I just hear her say just sign here. After the payment went through we gave her the cash & I asked for the receipt of the transaction. Once we were all leaving I had to remind her of the receipt at her computer station. She printed it out & gave it to me & said she "it says I add the tip for tax purposes" tip was $64.69 on the paper receipt & we gave her $65 exact in cash. Then I check my dads bank account she also charged him 20% on his card too! When I was about to bring it up the manager he starts talking to me on how the server made a "mistake" on the toast machine & charge twice. The manager & server quickly adjusted the transaction & gave me a receipt without the 20% included. It's more frustrating that she thought she deserved a 40% tip after we got our food before any drinks & we had to keep reminding her for other things we need while the restaurant only had 2 other tables! Its also infuriating that she thought she can take advantage of my dad, I clearly saw her tell him say sign her & she pressed continue with the 20% added on the card. Once the manager fixed it, we left & didn't tell the manager anything because I hate...
Read moreWe are in Florida on vacation and came here super excited to bring my son to watch the UFC fight and eat some wings! We love UFC so much so we were pumped! We noticed that they had quite a few UFC 316 posters taped in a lot of places. I asked the gal nicely if the posters were something they sold and she said that they are just posters they get when the place will be playing the UFC fights...I said ok thank you and walked to my table. When I passed her again to go outside she stopped me To let me know that she has some ufc posters and asked If I wanted to buy any. I got really excited and asked her "how much" which then she replied to me with "How much are you willing to pay?" Wait.....really? Now....I don't mind paying for a UFC poster, but her trying to haggle Me for it after we've been there for hours and spent a lot of money already and specifically there for the UFC fight lol Just left a bad taste in my mouth but I really wanted to get one for my son. My husband and I talked about it for a second and finally went to her and asked her if $20 would work, Which then she replied with a smile and said "I gotchu" And handed me a poster. I didn't realize it at first, but with tape all over it and ripped up (she had taken it off of the wall that they had taped on) I was thankful at first until I saw other people not paying for the posters. So not sure what that was all about... but if they needed the 20 bucks that bad, they could've just asked for donations lol I just think it's super unprofessional to haggle your customers. Later I found out I could buy these online NEW for 11$ The...
Read moreThis WingHouse was very good! (Unlike the one in New Port Richey.) Went there before going to a concert across the street. Was very busy but we were able to get a seat within 5 minutes. Staff was very friendly and courteous to everyone. Typical bar food - fried apps, burgers, wings, wraps, salads, etc. They do have many sauces for the wings which is great. We started with the spinach-artichoke dip which did not disappoint. I had the boneless wings with mango habanero sauce which were nice & tender & very tasty. My friend ordered the cheeseburger sliders but was delivered a regular cheeseburger. The server thought that if she smiled enough at us, it would be okay...lol...as she told us since it was so busy they wouldn't be able to fix the mistake. I could tell my friend was disappointed so I asked to speak to the manager & the server asked "Really?" with a shocked expression. Instead our waitress came back, looked at the order she wrote, fessed up she took the order wrong, and reluctedly and sheepishly asked my friend if he wanted it corrected, which he did. She said she would see what she could do & 10 minutes later his correct food came to the table. He was very happy and said the sliders were pretty good. Overall this location...
