Bergen County Pickleball Club — Attraction in Tenafly

Just rented all this place for my husbands surprise 40th bday party. We could not have been happier with the place or the time we had.

Staff: wonderful. Very patient and helpful during the rental process and equally engaged and helpful during the party. We had three generations of guests and all felt welcomed.

Facility: just wow! There is an upstairs lounge area that really was pretty and cool. Gave some non players a place to scope out the action before trying it out and a place to chat away from the play area! Downstairs also has a place to hang out and eat that was also very sleek and inviting. Plenty of room to serve food and drinks and plenty of seating to eat and to take breaks!

Courts: courts were great- well separated so no interrupting eachothers’ games with “ball!” Over and over! Also all courts are accessible from the main area- so no walking through games to get to an open court.

People: open play was going on during set up and clean up (as planned, you can book differently if you do not want that) and it was full and lively! Players were kind to my guests and even hung around a few minutes late to ensure they wouldn’t walk out and mess up the surprise entry. It was definitely nice to see how considerate people were that owe me nothing.

Do not hesitate to give this place a try for an event, a court rental or open play. My husband actually booked open play for the next day as we were leaving he likes it so...

10 out of 10! Sophisticated, warm and friendly, the newly-opened Bergen County Pickleball Club in Tenafly was the perfect venue for the birthday party which I hosted for my husband! The spectator lounge is gorgeous and has a view of all 4 spacious courts. The owners, instructors and staff are an absolute pleasure to work with! This place is a gem!!! I hear that the instructional classes for both kids and adults are terrific as well. Can't wait to rent courts and spend more time at Bergen County Pickleball Club! BCPC is top-notch—clean courts, great lighting, and a welcoming atmosphere that makes it easy to focus and enjoy the game. The entire staff—from Coach Mario, Ari, Bernie, and Leonard to the front desk and the owner—are always friendly and very helpful. Whether you’re a beginner or looking to take your skills to the next level, it’s a great place to train and play.
