I purchased a sectional in November, the delivery was scheduled for the week of thanksgiving. The company canceled my delivery and never called to notify me. When I called the store in tears they offered to give me the floor model of the sectional I ordered. I took that, used sectional for the price I paid for new furniture, because I had company coming in for the holiday and needed a place to sit. I was not offered any money back. I was not offered a discount for taking used furniture. 5 months later the larger section broke so badly that you could see parts of the frame through the fabric. I called and they agreed to fix it, but once they got it back to their store they never called me. I had to call to find out the status. I was told they would fix it then call to arrange to have it delivered back to me. They did not. I had to call them to arrange delivery. On the day of the delivery, a Tuesday, they did not show up when scheduled, no call. I had to call to find out it had broken again, and was told they would be calling me the next day, Wednesday, to let me know what was going on. No call. I called them Thursday and they said they had to check on it and they would call me back in 10 minutes. No call. I called them on Friday was told that they needed to check on it and would call me back in about 10 minutes. Again no call. I called them back about 3 hours later and was told that they were checking on it and it would be delivered to tomorrow,Saturday, or Tuesday. We’ll see. Based on how this has gone, I wonder if I will see my furniture next week. I doubt it. I gave a star because even though the company is apparently so incompetent that they cannot call their customers to communicate with them, at least the women they have taking the heat for them by answering the phones are nice...
Read moreI had a very good experience when I was in the store thinking about purchasing furniture. I was looking to purchase a sectional and they were very nice and helpful during the purchasing process. But after the purchase it was totally different. It took 14 weeks for our sectional to come in which I understood ahead of time but when it did it was wrong. The arm was on the wrong side so the prices did not fit together. The wrong two pieces were ordered and No one even noticed this before it was delivered. Then they said it would be another 12-14 weeks. This part of the process was terrible. They were not very nice nor willing to work with us. I paid a lot for the furniture and was so disappointed in how they handled the situation. Finally we decided to just take the floor model which was not the same color but didn’t look too different. We couldn’t wait 12 more weeks for furniture. At first they wanted to do an even trade. Then they decided to only give us 300 off and that was after a lot of discussion. They didn’t want to do anything! After we had the couch for a while I called to have some spots cleaned. We paid for the 5 year warranty. The man showed up with 1 bottle of bottled water and a magic eraser. He didn’t even stay to see if the spots were still there. That is what my warranty paid for???? Such a shame that they employ predatory practices. You have a 3 day window to return your items, even if they haven’t delivered them. They’ll tell you that you’re approved for financing but then when they charge you & it goes over your limit they see no issue with this. The lady that was on the phone when we called about this issue laughed, stated it was our problem & hung up. The manager Larry was supposed to work with us but then went back on his agreement. Not to mention they NEVER even ordered part of the set & have now stated it will be a MINIMUM of 5-6 WEEKS before the rest of the set is delivered! I will be contacting corporate tomorrow. I will be filing a complaint with the BBB as well. And finally I will be contacting every news agency to let them know about these issues in hopes that no one else gets taken advantage of.
