I placed a mobile pickup order at 6:00 PM, and the confirmation stated that the order would be ready by 6:16 PM. I sent my son to pick it up, and he arrived at the location around 6:19 PM, well after the promised ready time. He had his mother's phone with him and went inside to ask about the order. However, after about 30 minutes passed with no update, I decided to go in myself since it had been 40 minutes since I initially placed the order. When I asked about the status, the staff told me that my son “never told them” he was there to pick up a mobile order. They claimed they couldn’t start preparing the order until they were notified by the customer. This made no sense to me. The whole point of placing a mobile order is for it to be prepared ahead of time and ready by the promised time — especially when the app clearly said it would be ready by 6:16 PM. If a mobile pickup requires the customer to notify staff again upon arrival just to begin preparing the order, then what is the purpose of offering that feature? Even more upsetting was how rude the staff were. When I brought this up, one of the employees bluntly said my son “didn’t say crap” and accused him of just sitting down and not talking to anyone, which is completely untrue. My son was made to feel insulted and embarrassed by the way he was spoken to. The way the orange-haired staff member in particular treated us was extremely unprofessional. She raised her voice, blamed my son, and handled the situation poorly. The manager was no better — dismissive, defensive, and completely unwilling to accept any responsibility for the delay or the poor treatment we received. This is the first time I’ve ever had to verbally notify a store to begin preparing a mobile pickup order, and the experience was disappointing and frustrating. We deserve better service and basic respect...
Read moreDisastrous Late-Night Taco Bell Experience
I recently had an absolutely horrendous experience at Taco Bell, and I feel compelled to share it with others. My children had placed an order on the app for a late-night snack, and what followed was a series of disappointments that left us hungry and frustrated.
Upon arriving at the drive-thru, I was asked to wait for my food. That's completely understandable, as it takes time to prepare orders. However, what ensued was nothing short of chaotic and infuriating. I noticed several cars arriving and paying for their orders after me, yet they were being served ahead of me. I had to reverse my car back to the pick-up window just to bring this issue to their attention.
After what felt like an eternity of waiting, I was finally told that the staff couldn't prepare my food the way I had ordered it. To make matters worse, they informed me that they couldn't issue a refund either. This is not only an inconvenience but also a breach of basic customer service standards.
When I finally received the food, it was clear that no effort had been put into it. It was thrown together haphazardly and looked like a complete mess. My children were left hungry and disappointed after eating their unfulfilled and scanty meals. It's disheartening to see a well-known fast-food chain fail so miserably in delivering the quality and service they promise.
In the end, this experience was not only frustrating but also a major letdown for my family. It's disheartening to see a company prioritize other customers over those who had placed their orders earlier and then fail to provide the food as ordered. I hope Taco Bell takes this review as an opportunity to improve their service and regain the trust of...
Read moreThe Taco Bells in Texarkana may offer a decent value for dinner, but slow service plagues all locations except the New Boston Road restaurant.
For late night eats, Taco Bell and Whataburger are just about all Texarkana offers in fast food choices.
Many Taco Bells in Texarkana seem to have difficulty finding quality employees who understand that the customer and the customer's order take precedence over other employee interests. Quite often, employees are too busy playing with and talking to one another or to other patrons. They're often more fixed on taking a break than getting the job done, much less than getting an order right.
Be sure you check your orders to make sure you get your food the way you asked.
I often have to repeat myself three or more times at the drive thru windows. That's because employees aren't listening to ordering customers, even though they've asked you for your order.
And, getting your money back for their mistakes is like pulling teeth all to frequently.
However, if you aren't preturbed by that kind of irritation, the food quality is otherwise usually in line with regular expectations--provided employees have made the right efforts to get the food prep to match what is on the...
