I turned to internet searches and recommendations from other makers when I was looking to find my next LYS, and was thrilled when I found Fuzzy Goat online to shop and participate in their Facebook lives on Tuesdays with Melissa and Saturdays with Cadence. I loved this store before I even stepped into it! The online presence of the store is one of the best! I am coming from a city with 10+ stores in reach so I was nervous to only have one close by. I am very excited to call this my new LYS. It is colourful and inviting! They carry gorgeous fiber and are always promoting fun projects/ideas for new and stashed yarn. When you go in, they have printed patterns...not just your quick black and white laser print out...full colour booklets!...next to coordinating yarns. I love to shop around and find yarn stores along my travels and this particular store did NOT disappoint! Actually, I think this will be an absolute MUST stop every time I am in the area. There were yarns, patterns, colors, and gizmos and gadgets I had NEVER seen before! (That is saying something with as many stores as I have been in) The owner and staff were seriously welcoming and did not care if you Knit or Crochet as long as you enjoy being in the store that is all they cared about!
