They removed my review and probably will again. I went there with my at the time two-year-old son. Before purchasing a cupcake, I asked for the price of $3.50. Like any sane parent, I did not want to give my two-year-old a whole cupcake. So I asked the employee to please cut it in half. This action cost me $7.77!Now I ask were you charging me for the two second effort to cut the cupcake in half or the styrofoam bowl and plastic fork you gave me to eat it with?

I recently visited Smallcakes at 127 N Broad St, in Thomasville, GA. I walked into this very cute little store and examined the cases of goodies. I asked the attendant a few questions and told her I felt like a canoli. She said she had some in the back. I said I hope with chocolate chips, and she said yes. I purchased two and I thanked her for going out of her way. Great for the kids as well.

The ice cream here is top notch and the cupcakes are stupendous. The staff is friendly and the atmosphere is fun. This was a fun place to visit and we will certainly be back if we're ever in town again.

I stopped in for ice cream and cupcakes to celebrate my birthday. The girl behind the counter seemed overwhelmed by the order from the get go. I ordered 3 ice creams (2 red velvet cheesecake and 1 cookie dough) and 3 cupcakes (2 red velvet and 1 cookie and cream), very simple. After paying (almost $28), she brought the last ice cream to the counter, it looked like vanilla. I asked her if this was the last of the red velvet cheesecake because there was no red velvet anywhere in the bowl. She said yes, and there was no more in the back. I told her I don’t want it since it was literally just vanilla, and asked if I could get cookie dough. She looked at me like it was an inconvenience, took the bowl in her hand and slammed it into the trash. When I got the cookie dough ice cream, there literally was 1 piece of cookie dough and 3 small pieces of chocolate. I can’t help but think that this was done intentionally after her reaction when asking to change the flavor. This was my first time and definitely will be my last time giving this place my business. Neither of the two employees were friendly, don’t waste your...

Just check your order before you leave the store. Purchased a wedding cake and box was sealed. No carelessness involved with transporting cake two blocks away. It was lower 60's that morning and thought of getting too warm wasn't problem. Opened box and bottom layer had collapsed causing top layer to slide on side in box. Lady at store on Saturday offered bucket of buttercream frosting for wedding organizer to repair herself, which made sense due to her being alone at store. Later found out the owner stated that it was not her problem. Thanks to JB Crumbs, cake was made to appear whole again --Nailed It! Did owner call the next week to express concern? No, but Diana was the only reason of...

I ordered the french vanilla or something like that but it was in the wrong spot which was okauly because I just wanted a traditional yellow cake with chocolate icing which is whatbI got. The Cupcake was super dry that I couldnt eat past the second bit. My son got the chocholate one with the cream filling like the little debbie ones at the gas stations. His was a little better but still not the quality of the ones I have had at other SmallCakes. I would have traded the cupcake back in for another one vs left a bad review as I am small buisness owner as well but that day I just didnt feel to welcomed, we stayed and at our cupcake there and staff never asked us how...
