Richardson Bay Audubon Center & Sanctuary — Attraction in Tiburon

This is a small but important tidal wetland. Though it covers only 10.5 acres of land, there are 900 acres below the tide line.

Consistent with the Audubon mission, this is primarily a bird sanctuary. However, there are also some garden trails you explore.

If you're visiting during the week, keep in mind that the property is also used as a charter school location. Parking can be very difficult when kids are being dropped off...

This is a beautiful place, I recently noticed that is in a need for maintanance, leaves branches and debris accumulated over the time.also the fence is old and partially broken. The gardens are in poor shape for a Sanctuary. A lot of people bike and walk by, the view is lovely, it hold weddings and events sometimes. What happens to conservation center vehicle ?? I wonder if they have enough...

Beautiful old home location on Richardson Bay where the Audubon Society hosts talks and events. I believe you can rent this space as well. Also, just a visit to the surrounding grounds for a picnic and the beach below is lovely. There is a public restroom...
