Update: this store is the perfect marriage between Safeway, Whole Foods, and boutique. Brands you love and interesting local brands you love to support, without marginalizing your needs like some boutique grocery stores. Really impressed with them, friendly staff, well organized, incredible selection.
After adding a liquor license, they've got some of the most incredible deals on alcoholic beverages you could hope for. Pretty surprising. This place is always just nailing it from a community perspective of providing everything we need versus some of the other grocery stores like whole foods who feel convinced that off-brand products are what the people want. It's amazing to see a good blend of local farms and entrepreneurial businesses versus the larger brand products we really enjoy and want.
Great addition to step up competition and local options. Very pricey compared to whole foods in general, but great renovation, perfect location, and promises to be so popular that parking, in what was a ghost town 2 years ago, will be difficult. Hope it drives some biz to Sweet Treats! Check 'em out! A no brainer of a great necessity for the people who don't live downtown, or want to venture to the MV...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreI recently witnessed an extremely troubling incident involving your loss prevention team that has left me questioning your storeās policies and training procedures. A staff member detained a customer who was holding a young child, physically restraining her by grabbing her arm despite her attempts to explain the situation. The woman was allegedly suspected of theft, though it was later clarified that another customer had purchased the item in question for her child.
What particularly concerned me was the escalation of the situation - the physical contact appeared excessive and left visible marks on the customerās arm, and staff seemed unwilling to listen to her explanation or de-escalate appropriately. This incident raises serious questions about your loss prevention protocols, especially when children are present.
As a potential customer, I need to know whether this represents your standard operating procedures. If this is indicative of how your stores handle customer interactions, I cannot in good conscience support your business. I hope you will review this incident and implement better training to ensure all customers are treated with dignity...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreJust an okay small local store. Was impressed that the shelves are well stocked but like others have commented on, itās expensive and thereās nothing special. No homemade juice or hummus like at other local grocery stores. Got sick from the seafood salad. Something seems off with their lids that arenāt secure either.
Some areas are difficult to navigate with a cart and it seemed like the aisles were narrow.
Not a mask in sight by employees or customers despite the pandemic continuation. Was hoping to see more (or any) like I do in the Good Earth Natural Grocers.
Parking lot is small and gets crowded with so many other businesses in the shopping center. Didnāt notice where in the lot to return the carts so I walked up the steep ramp to return it which isnāt mobility friendly.
Fruit selection was meh and the cut up watermelon didnāt look very good. Was disappointed that the sushi wasnāt made while there except for vegetarian options. Fish options should be made first.
Good frozen food section for vegetarians and an array of...
