The Tiburon Historical Trail completely blew me away! I'm an avid hiker and this is easily one of the best trails I've explored in the Bay Area. First off, let's talk about the essentials: trash cans. They're everywhere! As a dog owner, I really appreciate not having to carry a full poop bag for half the hike. (Seriously, it can get awkward.) They even had plenty of port-o-potties – talk about being prepared!
But the trail itself is truly spectacular. The wide, paved path winds along the waterfront, offering breathtaking views of the bay, Angel Island, and the San Francisco skyline. There were even a few benches perfectly positioned for soaking in the scenery. My dog had a blast, too! Read moreSolid walking paths along the water amid a residential area. The views of the bay are quite nice and there is a really cool portion that goes along the original train tracks of Tiburon. The elevated tracks have been recreated and, if you're a train nerd, it is definitely worth checking out.
Unfortunately, the marked trails and unmarked desire paths are located near a pretty busy / noisy road and there are several popular grass fields for sports and family activities -- you can't really get away into nature.

Tiburon's a nice quaint little town it to go and visit what they have a lot of trails around surrounding the area and they've got a great view of San Francisco and the Strawberry area.
We parked in the parking lot paid by the hours a small amount but it was good to just walk around in the weather great because it's right there on the water and cooler than the surrounding Bay Area cities.
