I was crying for days over my experience with Dr. Perez a gynecologist. I would not recommend Dr. Perez to anyone. I’ve never been treated so horribly by a doctor and I truly saw evil in his eyes.
I’ll give you some background. I have been going to Dr. Perez for unfortunately a few years now because my insurance and his location however I have always wanted a female doctor. He always complains about his wife's mood swings (just a side note, real nice guy). About a month ago I went in for my yearly exam and I also was complaining about pain and Dr. Perez told me to make an appointment to come in and talk about it and threw me on a new birth control. I can understand the limited time then because it was an annual appointment however it would’ve been nice to take two extra minutes to talk to me about my pain. I have been super busy and have had to work a lot so by the time I could get an appointment it was a month later.
On Wednesday December 22nd, I went in for my appointment which before, I told every detail on the phone to the nurse about why I was coming in. I arrive and the waiting room is packed even though it’s almost 4 o’clock, new patients included. When I go in and I explain to the nurse what’s going on she gets Dr. Perez and the first thing he says to me is “I don’t think I can do this appointment I go on vacation in 30 minutes”. I thought he was joking so I asked him and he said no he was serious. So I told him that is upsetting because I have been waiting for this appointment and to talk about my pain. He continued to insult me and tell me that I was being a “Karen” for having so many questions. The last thing I wanted to do is be there with him. This is beyond insulting especially when he is my doctor and I have concerns about my health, he should not practice medicine. He did not want to help me and its awful to know that he will treat someone this way who comes to him for help. He was cruel.
As far as I’m concerned he just wants to touch girls/women and prescribe them birth control to support his vacations because he is by no means a doctor. This man is absolutely disgusting please do not go to him unless you want your daughter, wife, grandma, or aunt be traumatized. I’m finding a new doctor to...
Read moreThere is healthcare and then there's health charge. This place is health charge, all they want is your money. I moved to the state last year and didn't know where to go for a PC doctor. Wish I did a better job checking their reviews. The ones on their site are taken the day after the office visit before the billing department sends out their bills and are misleading since you can't amend them or see the negative one's. It's all smoke and mirrors. I made an appointment for myself and my wife for physicals, since we had not had one in awhile. We're getting up there in age and should have one ever year. We waited awhile for our appointments which is normal, but just before the date my Wife's appointment was canceled because the doctor had to go somewhere that day, which meant my appointment was the last of the day. I arrived early knowing the doctor had to go somewhere and he gave me the fastest physical I ever had. I've had longer pat downs in the TSA line. I was then given paperwork to have blood drawn and off I went. Sounds like a physical to me, but I then received a bill for an office visit. So I called and explained that I made an appointment for a physical and not an office visit and that I pay $14,000 a year for health insurance and all I get is one free physical a year. They said they would look into it, but the bills kept coming. I contacted my insurance company to see why they were billing me only to find out that they didn't give what I went in there for and now another 6 months have gone by and neither my wife have received proper medical care. Which brings me back to the beginning, this is health charge. To make matters worse they gave the bill to a collection agency for a very small amount instead of doing the right thing and having us both come in for proper physicals and eating that small amount because it was their mistake. We're not in our 20's so it's important to catch things before they become serious, which...
Read moreI love the OBs here, they’re all great. BUT the new girls at the front desk are flat-out horrible. Can’t even look up and acknowledge you to see who you are, ask you if your information has changed EVERY time you come which is very annoying when I have already checked-in online and verified the info AND I come weekly now for my prenatal visits so why would my phone number, address, insurance change without me updating it… No personality, not friendly or welcoming, & when you call you get left on hold forever. When trying to schedule follow-ups, I have been told my doctor wasn’t working, then gone to my appt with another doctor to see my doctor is actually there (as my doctor said she would be). Alyssa back in the day, and Genesis more recently were a million times better. The new phone system is bad too, “press 1 if you’re a new or existing patient, press 2 to schedule an appointment” I don’t see a difference in those, and neither gets me where I need to be in OB- just family medicine??? Makes the whole practice look bad, but like I said the doctors there are great.
Also, regarding Tituslanding imaging- When I went for my 2nd ultrasound I brought my 3 year old daughter as she was interested and excited to see the baby, my daughter is very well behaved and watched Disney on my phone the majority of the time anyway, but the tech (who had previously told me she does not have children) was more concerned with what my daughter was doing, making sure she didn’t leave her seat the whole time, asking me if I had anyone that could come get her.. no. I don’t want anyone to come get her, my husband was at work so I was already pretty much alone and she wanted to be there and was not getting into any trouble, running around or bothering anyone. By the time someone could’ve picked her up my ultrasound would’ve been over...
