Probably one of the worst waitress experiences I have had this year. Stopped into grab a quick lunch with a coworker. The menu had two types of guacamole listed (dip or fresh) since I am a fan of the table side experience and the Fresh Guacamole cost a good deal more, I ask asked the server Yaira if the Fresh Guacamole was table side. She rolled her eyes at me and said no it is just chunkier. Confused by the reaction I ordered the fresh guacamole with of our meal. I asked for everything to be added to my guac, Yaira asked if I wanted the jalapeño followed by her saying she would have to check to see if they had any. We got our meal, but my companion didn’t get cheese with her Fajita order and had to flag Yaira down to request the cheese and not once during our meal did she offer to refill our drinks. The final straw for me with the attitude she displayed happened during our attempt to close out our bill. I asked if the restaurant offered a military discount, Yaira said yes so I showed her my ID. She returned with our bill and said her manager had to approve the transaction change. Okay, no problem. She asked to see my ID again, took it and walked away. I have never had my Military ID taken from me so I watched her as she walked around the restaurant with it. She eventually retuned to our table to tell me that her manager was in the bathroom and that she is only allowed to take 10% off one item of our bill. Now since she had my ID, I watched her walk around with my ID and bill, she spoke to other servers and went to other tables but not person she interacted with seemed to be her manager. When she finally went to the register and return to our table to produced a bill again, it had a 10% taken off the guacamole ($1.60). I laughed and put that discount back on the bill as her tip. The food was pretty good over all but the serves and the servers can really ruin a dinning experience. I doubt, neither I nor my coworker would ever return to a place and be treated so poorly.

A Titusville goto for lunch/nightime food experience. Modern, urban, street cantina with large patio fronting a movie complex. L shaped bar faces both outside with open windows and inside has a set of TVs and bottle displays. Menu is full stack mexican fare from mix n match Taqueria, loco burritos, enchilada, quesadilla, up to full dining steak, pork, or chicken platters. Also being near FL coast, a set of seafood dishes focused on tilapia and shrimp combos. So the vibe on my arrival was a busy Monday night with a large wedding party on patio. Probably a good sign (who books their wedding experience at anything less than a great place). Talkative bar mistress, very attentive (Jessica), worked with a fellow bar mate and another food server as a team. The bar area was kept very clean and used glasses removed quickly. Regulars at bar were mostly couples at 7 pm with larger crews filling in later. Tables of families and friend groups crowded the main floor and music was thankfully soft played so talking was easy. It seems a good place for couples with private 2-person booths indoors and the cafe outdoor patio as options. One couple at bar with me were chatty and spoke highly of their experiences at Salsas. Food-wise, a unique Milanesa batter dipped chicken was highlighted as mucho delicioso by my food attendant. My bar mates recommended Arroz con Pollo as a cheese and chicken phenomenon. I went with 8 oz Tampiquena Steak that turned to be 14 oz (it seemed). There was plenty to drink with large and larger Margaritas (2 for 1 on Mondays), a full liquor bar, and about 12 beer selections on draft. As I finished and boxed my extra steak, my alert food-minder suggested a dessert and guided me toward a plate of chocolate-dipped churros. It was a grand finale shared with my new friends and night-capped an enjoyable evening at Salsas.

From the moment I walked in the door... I felt like this is going to be a great experience. The hostess was extremely nice and extremely informative. I told her I had never been here before and she welcomed me and my friend.!! We asked to sit at the bar.,. Don't you know we were greeted with a very, very happy bartender and a giant smile. Of course he asked if we wanted anything to drink. I told him I wanted to look at the menu. I saw a drink that was beautiful. Please look at the pictures below. It was a coconut margarita.... My friend ordered draft beer, by the way the draft beer was served with prompt service and it was ice cold..... no longer than my friends beer glass became empty another one was right there.... Again prompt service. When I received my coconut margarita it looked just like it did on the menu. I recommend the coconut margarita. I applaud the amazing bartender. We ordered appetizers because we were sitting at the bar . The food was outstanding. I even asked for grilled cactus, which the bartender said I like it with lime on top... I said please do you mind doing that for me and he said no I don't. He proceeded to put the lime on with loving care... It was the best thing I ever put in my mouth. Let's wrap this all up with saying I love Salsas restaurant. I recommend everyone to go there....lol now I know I'm going to have to wait in line but it's worth waiting for. I'm going to send out this review because you got to give credit where credit is due...Thank you Salsa's!! My new favorite place to eat and drink...

Update The last two times that I've eaten here, the food and service has been fabulous. I guess the owner wasn't lying when he/she said that they'd try and do better. This is now my favorite Mexican restaurant. The food is great. The service is great. My only two complaints are: 1. the music is too loud. It makes it impossible to talk. 2. More vegan friendly options would be nice. I've eaten at this restaurant many times and usually it's good. However, last night my family and I went there and the service was terrible. The waitress was very nice and she claimed to be super busy, but I worked as a waitress for years and the restaurant was somewhat busy but not THAT busy. W

We were seated right away and a few minutes later someone dropped off the chips and salsa. They didn't say a word. They just slid the containers on the table and walked away. About 5-10 minutes later a waitress came by and took our drink orders. We had to ask for napkins and salt and pepper. We should've thought to ask for silverware.

Things were okay for a bit. We got our drinks and she took our order. We ran out of chips and salsa. No big deal there. When a person brought our food we asked for more chips and salsa and silverware because as fun as it might've been to eat burritoes and empanadas with just our hands, we really weren't in that kind of mood.

He brought us the chips and salsa but no silverward. We thought he would come back with the silverware, but no such luck. We waited. And waited. Finally, my niece got the attention of another waiter and he brought us some silverware. The first guy did eventually come back with the silverware. I guess he had to run to the store to buy more or something. That's the only reason I can think of as to why it took so long.

The food was decent as usual. The waitress did manage to stop by off and on. And then came the bills. She brought the checks and we wait and waited and waited. It was utterly ridiculous. I finally changed my mind and left cash instead of using my credit card because I got tired of waiting. We were standing to leave when she finally came back to the table. I will never go back there on a Saturday night because obvsiously, the employees can't handle more than two...

Two and a half stars ... My wife and I ate supper at Salsa’s at Titus Landing, Saturday night, January 8th, 2022. Before you read any further, keep in mind that I lived in Texas for many years and traveled extensively out west. I ate a wide variety of Tex-Mex and Mexican foods. The restaurant is new and very nice. Our waitress was attentive, efficient, courteous and respectful. We gave her a nice tip. The food was prepared quickly, accurately and came out on smoking, hot platters. I ordered steak fajitas, and my wife ordered chicken fajitas. The portions were generous and the fajitas were accompanied by yellow rice, refried beans, sour cream and guac. There were hot tortillas on the side. I ordered a Bloody Mary. If you think you hear a “but” coming, here it is: the kitchen had been very, very timid with seasonings. As far as we could tell, no salt had been used in preparing our meal and there was no salt on the table. I couldn’t tell if the beef or the chicken had been seasoned in any way. Normally fajita meats have been marinated and are very flavorful. Our fajitas were good, just not Mexican or Tex-Mex flavored. The guac was OK but also very bland except for too much lime juice. I think I could detect a bit of MSG in the fajitas. I don’t object to MSG but it doesn’t replace salt. Now, the Bloody Mary. It was simply unacceptable. I only drank half of it (this has never happened to me and a Bloody Mary). It tasted as if someone went to Publix and bought a bottle of Mr. and Mrs. T’s Bloody Mary mix, poured it over some ice, put in too much lime juice, waved a vodka bottle over it and called it done. There was no garnish of any kind, the rim was not salted or spiced, no discernable alcohol flavor… It cost $9. Very disappointing. I will eat at Salsa’s again, I always give a new restaurant a second or third chance, and we did enjoy the fajitas, they just weren’t really fajitas. You should also try Salsa’s you will probably really like it. I’m just a tough judge when it comes to...

This is a relatively new restaurant with a nice atmosphere. Service is usually good to very good. Our latest visit was to meet old friends. We had a good meal and enjoyed some good conversation afterwards. Update 3 June 2023 The above review is still good but I had a bad experience at dinner there this evening that requires an update. I am allergic to onions and have been since my early thirties. It is really a pain going out to dinner especially at a Mexican restaurant where so many of the meals have them in the recipe. This usually means I have to order something like tacos that are built to order. Our waitress Katie helped me with a new menu item, Puffy Mahi Tacos. I was assured that they could build them without onions and I asked that they substitute shredded lettuce. When they arrived, they clearly were made with onions and I sent them back immediately. They returned in just a few minutes without Visible onions. I was surprised how quickly they came back and noted that they did not have the substituted lettuce. I lifted up the fish to find small bits of onion. I picked the last few off and ate the tacos. Based on timing of the return of the meal and the onions underneath, I believe they just removed the onions and sent them back out. Our waitress was upset with this and said that she would have a word with the kitchen. She was very good about the whole thing. To add insult to injury, my wife ordered a Salsa Quesadilla without onions but it came with them. She can eat onions but expected leftovers so ordered hers without onions so we could both eat them later. The order was placed with the appropriate notes so I feel the kitchen dropped the ball. Food allergies are real, the kitchen needs to do better and management needs to get on top of their operation. I dropped the overall score by one star and the food down to two stars. Their food is generally good to very good and service normally very good to excellant. They gave themselves a black eye...
