My sister and I came to this mall. 2 hours into shopping my sister picked up a piece at at crowded booth that she wanted to buy and it dropped and broke. It was glass so it was extremely loud and she stood and waited for someone to come over so she could claim her mistake and still offer to pay for it. A woman came over (manager or owner) and started freaking out on her. âOmg youâre gonna pay for thisâ and was extremely rude. My sister said âwell yea Iâm still standing here I havenât run off, I was going to still offer to pay for itâ the woman was just so awfully rude. My sister continued shopping and bought other things and as she was checking out (broken item already scanned for) and that same woman came up and baraded my sister again âyouâre gonna pay for that item you brokeâ and my sister calmly said âyes he already scanned itâ and still with a rotten attitude didnât even ask if my sister was okay. The item was 12 dollars. I would of had him scan only the broken item and had him return everything else. Accidents happen (especially if the booth is packed and over stuffed) if the person is standing there still waiting and offering to pay for an item they accidentally broke youâd think they would be professional and at lest ask if youâre okay! The woman even followed her around and gave her dirty looks the remaining time my sister shopped. Thereâs a way to handle accident and this woman was extremely...
Read moreI am terribly upset by the way this staff treated my fiancĂ© and me while we were shopping there today! We are in our mid-20âs with tattoos and there staff clearly profiled us as people who would steal for NO REASON! This had to be based solely on age and appearance, because we had a shopping cart full of items we were clearly going to purchase. We were followed to each booth and asked if we needed help every 5 minutes or so! There were multiple other shoppers in the store we chit-chated with during the hours of shopping booth by booth. They had three different staff members following us and spying on just us! My fiancĂ© would look up and catch the staff members looking through the adjacent booth dividers spying on us and the staff would immediately look down pretending to look at items when he made eye contact with them. We have been to all of the Wildwood antique malls multiple times and HAVE NEVER been treated like this. We are young antiquers and spend way more money then we probably should at these antique malls. During checkout the lady didnât give us the correct sale percent off, which we didnât realize until we left because we were just trying to leave. If you are young, have tattoos, or donât look like the average antiquer, DONT WASTE YOUR TIME or your money elsewhere. The other antique malls have great customer service and are personable to...
Read moreThis is one of the best antique malls we have been to ever! My husband and I love going to antique malls everywhere we visit, literally. We went to do some duds here in the area where we were staying but drove 40 minutes to Titusville to visit this mall and see the beach at the National Seashore (also highly recommend!). We just loved this little town! And this antique mall was awesome... it's clean, well organized, and most prices were pretty reasonable. There's something for everyone here! I was impressed by the interesting art and cultural pieces like ethnic masks, antique furniture, inexpensive wall decor plus original signed paintings, books, sports cards, toys, records, jewelry.... it's a great mix and it's huge! It seems to go on forever... wish we could come back đ Remember, shopping bags have to remain behind the register, but you can carry your purse. I asked upfront about my handbag and nobody got their feathers ruffled. I can see why some people may be offended by the lady working there as she seems to be one of those 'blunt' people that aren't overly sweet or warm, but she was nice about my purse, so don't let those bad reviews about bags keep you from coming here. The men working there are also nice!...
