Pizza, sandwiches, Chinese. The area is bright, spacious, and offers ample seating, including some comfy lounge areas perfect for resting those weary shopping feet. Beyond shopping and dining, Franklin Park Mall offers a variety of other amenities. Families with little ones will appreciate the play area and the charming train that chugs through the mall. (There is a Train Ride Fee) Restrooms are conveniently located throughout, and you'll also find soda machines and water fountains to keep you hydrated during your retail marathon. JUST AWFUL. THERE ARE SO MANY STORES CLOSING. DICKS WILL BE CLOSING AND I THINK JCPENNEY MIGHT BE. I DID HEAR THEY'RE GOING TO STICK AROUND FOR ONE MORE CHRISTMAS, SO WE'LL SEE. AND A COUPLE OTHER STORE CLOSURES. I KNOW THIS IS TRUE, FROM A FEW MANAGERS THAT I TALKED TO. THE PLACE IS LOSING BUSINESS, THEN YOU HAVE THESE PEOPLE THAT TRY TO SHOVE FACE CREAM DOWN YOUR THROAT, AND WHEN YOU SAY NO, THEY SAY DEROGATORY THINGS TO YOU. THAT HAPPENED TODAY. I CALLED THE MALL MANAGER AND OF COURSE SHE DIDN'T ANSWER THE PHONE EITHER. HORRIBLE MALL MANAGEMENT, COUPLE MANAGERS FROM THE STORES THAT I TALKED TO, SAID THAT THEY ARE BETTER OFF GETTING A NEW MANAGEMENT TEAM. TRUST ME IT'S TRUE. I WILL NOT GO INTO THE MALL ANY LONGER. THERE ARE A FEW THAT I WILL GO INTO : VERSONA, BECAUSE OF THEIR EXCELLENT CUSTOMER SERVICE, AND DILLARD'S, AND BATH AND BODY WORKS, BUT IN HOLLAND, OHIO. THE MALL AND MANAGEMENT IS JUST HORRENDOUS. RENT HAS SKY ROCKETED FOR TENANTS, I TALKED TO 1 LONGEVITY TENANT THAT TOLD ME IT IS RIDICULOUS. THE MANAGER CALLED ME BACK YET ALMOST 3:00 P.M. CASEY FOR YOUR INFORMATION, I USED TO WORK IN CUSTOMER SERVICE, FOR A HEALTHCARE CORPORATION. IF I DIDN'T CALL DOCTORS OR SOCIAL WORKERS BACK WITHIN 15 MINUTES, WRITE UPS WOULD HAPPEN. I THRIVED ON EXCELLENT CUSTOMER SERVICE. NEITHER HERE NOR THERE, READ THE REVIEW, I AM NOT CALLING YOU BACK. YOU DO NOTHING ABOUT THE BELLIGERENT SALES STAFF, THAT TRIES TO SHOVE FACE CREAM DOWN YOUR THROAT. THEY'RE AT A KIOSK, AND I KNOW, THAT YOU'VE HAD NUMEROUS COMPLAINTS. MONEY TALKS. One of the nicest malls I have ever visited. The mall staff are courteous, and genuinely courteous. You know how some people are playing the part? These people actually seem to enjoy their jobs. The security seems though as if there is some room for improvment as some of the security staff barely qualify for the position, but I do believe they are part of a contracted service. The parking garages are in need of some repairs, however it appeared as if they had begun working on inproving the parking situation. The individual retailers are beginning to look more and more professional as well and the improvements the retailers are making only make it more appealing as a buyer. I want to spend my money at a location that seems to care about their customers as well as their staff. They're making it hard for me to keep away. There are a few of my favorite stores that have become a staple of my shopping experience, and others that have just begun to get my attention. I highly recommend Franklin Park Mall to not only locals, but to visitors as well. Rogers & Hollands is a must for the jewelry and gift shopping experience. Claudaugh is for everyone looking for a personal touch for lunching, and a little liquid courage to relax you as you shop.
