La Romeria Park — Attraction in Torrance

I ended up reserving a room for a baptism reception in October 2017. Definitely check this place out before reserving. Based on the pictures I thought this would be a good place to host an elegant lunch. When my mom walked in to help set up on the day of the event the floors were filthy as was the stove and fridge. There were cob webs by the stove. My mom ended up mopping the floors before the reception with a dingy mop in the corner. I was so embarrassed to be hosting 30 close friends and family there. While the playground was great for the kids. I would definitely look elsewhere. I was able to only get half my money back after asking for a full refund. I'm a long time resident of this neighborhood. This park is poorly taken care of being it's a fairly nice area. To be specific. The city workers and public works department in charge of this park are the absolutely embarrassing to say the least.
