WHERE DO I EVEN START? family and I went to Bob's a couple of weeks ago. The sales lady that said would help was not helping she was all over the place. Then we told her that we were trying to sign up for something that we could pay monthly in order to help boost our credit score. She had us sign up for a program called Progressive. Which took forever to sign up and then info didn't save so we had to put it in again. At the end when we were checking out, Supervisor was checking order and she tells us that that program doesn't report to credit bureau. So then why the heck did sales lady have us spend so much time filling out our info, if it wasn't going to help our credit?! So we ended up leaving and not buying anything. Last week we decided to return because we really liked the furniture that we had previously wanted to order. NOT going to name the sales guy because he was super nice, but he did make a mistake on our order. When our furniture got delivered, delivery guys said the dresser was not placed on order. And then the king bed didn't fit our king mattress. It has a big gap of space on both sides, like as if they sent us Cal king size instead of regular King. Not done yet. The wood frame has so much glue all over the front. like seriously? I ended up calling customer service and supervisor KIKI was helpful and she placed a new order for king frame to be replaced. which is supposed to be delivered today with dresser... we shall see if king frame fits and if it also doesn't have glue everywhere. I also ended up going this past Saturday and the supervisor lady, don't remember her name and I did call Bob's to get her name and apparently the number doesn't go to the actual store and lady said I can't help get her name because I don't know who works there. Description of supervisor, medium built latina lady. She never apologized for rep not placing dresser order. And so she ended up placing order for us. She said would call me that day before 6pm to let me know if delivery could come in sooner and guess what? nope! she never called. Very disappointed in Bob's. Didn't even get a discount or anything free for all of there hot mess! so disorganized and unprofessional. Wish us luck on delivery today. If all goes well I will not post a follow up review. will never shop there again...
Read moreI use to love Bobs because of the quality and value they provide besides the service and free consession stand. I would refer my friends and family to them but not any more. Me and my sister placed an order in Jan for 2 bedroom sets and a table. Our furniture kept being delayed because certain items weren't in stock. (I had told the store staff I didn't want to receive half of the furniture, I want the full thing and that in my area theres no parking and its a gated community). In April they delivered my table which I approved of,in May our order was finally ready! They came to make the delivery but couldn't because their truck was too big, who fault is that?( This was the exact truck they brought the table in). So me and my sis had already cleared our rooms and had to sleep on the floor. They said they would come to re-deliver in a pickup truck and could only deliver the mattress because the bedroom complete set wouldnt be ready. I didn't understand why it wouldn't be ready if they had attempted to deliver it. I told the representative I didn't want my brand new mattress on the floor...so I had to wait 6 days, and sleept on the floor 6 days in order to receive the set. Guess what?? They delivered my sisters furniture in the same big truck a few days later 🤡. Now I have my set delivered today Jun. 3rd! My brand new mattress on the floor, and furniture not assembled due to the manufacturer not sending the correct piece to set the bed up.(see pics) Now I had to wait till the 10th to get a replacement, so these huge boxes are in my small apartment for 1 week with my new mattress on the floor. Then I have to waste another day waiting for the delivery team to show up and exchange parts and assemble the bed. I have to keep wasting my time for the mistakes of others it is frustrating and stressful. I feel like canceling my order and looking for business else where. So I purchased a dining table and recliner sofa in 2019 and recently the dining table stools seat cushions were sunken in and its only I who uses the dining table, I rarely have guest so you can imagine they aren't used frequently and neither is my couch.
Nevertheless, I submitted a claim twice with the expectation that they would assist and both times I was denied claiming that the issues I was experiencing were not covered, Guardians Customer service was of no help. So I called Bob's Customer Care department and sadly the person who answered was useless...he did not offer any solution nor options, he just told me I was going to have to pay out of pocket to fix the items...So by now you can imagine my frustration!!
I finally decided to call the Store directly (Torrance CA Bobs Furniture) and request to speak with the Store Manager. A young lady by name of Krysten helped me out and she communicated my issue to Victor (Store Manager) she told me that he would call me back after reviewing my case. Sure enough he did and he apologized and expressed that he would help me resolve this.
I was able to go into the store and meet with him directly and he offered me to do a furniture swap, since my items were discontinued I had the option to either get them fixed or pick new items of equal or lesser value.
I was truly relieved and in fact I was able to find something even nicer than what I had, it was a bit more in cost but since Victor was a great help and I appreciated his support I was willing to pay a little extra to get something nicer, just paid the difference.
So in short, if you come across any issues with a claim or customer care does not offer any solutions, CALL the store manager, if the closest store is the one in Torrance, CA ask to speak with Victor. He was awesome and so was Krysten for taking my initial...
