If you frequent korean spas, you know Riviera Health Spa is a very good example of one. It's two stories with a gender specific downstairs where the pools, dry sauna, steam room and locker room are located. Upstairs is "co-ed" as in all genders and family friendly. Located on the second floor are the special saunas, work out room (treadmill), computer room, restaurant... What's notable about the upstairs is that it has an area with a heated floor. They provide mats so you can spend time there stretching, napping, or general relaxing. Free wifi and air-conditioning make it a good place to hang out on a very hot day in the South Bay.
Must try- korean scrub. I like scrubs in general, especially the "table baths," but the Korean scrub is amazing. I've never felt cleaner in my life. I like to get one, especially at the end of summer, to get all the "wet skin" spf off my body. It's almost alarming but satisfying to see all the rolly pollies of dead skin rinsed off. They'll also wash your hair and give you a massage during the same treatment. They do not use fancy products, but its still nice enough.
Update 11-4-2023: It's still good. It opens at 9am. I got there about 10:30. When I walked in, I booked a body care massage downstairs in the wet area. I had just enough time to wash up before the massage, sit in the steam room, sit in hot tub, and the warm tub. I prefer to wear the oil out ad not wash it off. Its really good for your skin. The body care included an all over body massage with warm oils. They gave me a facial mask, massaged my scalp and washed my hair. It's so decadent to have someone else wash your hair! Afterward, I got dressed to go upstairs. The restaurant is open now 6 days. Their cafe is still dark, but the restaurant serves coffee, tea, juice, smoothies, and slushies. They have a good menu with a mix of Korean and cooked Japanese dishes. Today, I had their teriyaki salmon bowl with a mango & banana smoothie. It...
Read moreUpdate 9/24 I decided to give this place another try. This time I got a body scrub and deep tissue massage, the services were both great. The deep tissue was on the 2nd floor with Susan she was amazing.
They still don’t give you a robe. And only one large towel and 1 small towel.
The locker assignments are clunky because they give out a lot of the lockers on top or near you. Which are a pain if ur trying to get dressed or access your locker, Also restaurant is closed from 2:30p-4:30p during the day. That was really hard because we purposely didn’t eat before our visit. For these reasons above I will give them 4 stars.
I would give this spa a better rating if they gave you robes and if they had a resting room in the women’s area. I visited this spa on a weekday. These were the pros and cons from my experience: Pros: Friendly staff Good price (20/25) Restaurant Clean Quiet Free parking Ice room Free toothbrushes Sit down showers were nice Open til midnight (11:30pm)
Cons: Small selection on saunas in co Ed area No sleeping area in women’s area No robes provided only uniform, and if you didn’t pay for jimjimblang you would have to use a towel.
This would be a good spa to go with your boyfriend or girlfriend. I did not get a service. Overall there was nothing special about this place, I wouldn’t be interested in coming back unless they started to offer robes at least. It was really inconvenient to have to put on the uniform or use the only large bath towel...

Forget earthly relaxation, my friends. This deep tissue massage wasn't just good, it was cosmic. From the moment Jacky laid her hands on me, I felt like my knotted muscles were being gently coaxed out of their stubborn orbits by a benevolent alien force.
I'm talking about a pressure that was divinely firm, reaching depths I didn't even know existed within my terrestrial body. It wasn't just surface-level fluff; this was a journey to the core, excavating tension I'd been harboring since the dawn of time (or at least, since that last killer workout).
Each stroke was like a miniature supernova, releasing pent-up stress with a gentle, yet powerful, whoosh. I swear I could feel the gravitational pull of my tight shoulders lessening with every expertly applied elbow. By the end, I felt lighter, taller, like I'd shed a whole layer of dense atmospheric pressure.
My earthly aches and pains? Vaporized. Gone. Reduced to stardust. I'm pretty sure I briefly achieved a state of pure being on that table.
If you're looking for a massage that will simply relax you, keep looking amongst the stars. But if you're ready for a full-body recalibration, a deep tissue experience that will leave you feeling like you've just returned from a blissful sojourn on a higher plane, then BOOK. THIS. MASSAGE.
You won't just feel better; you'll feel reborn. Five out of five...
