Bought a fridge from them. The smallest that you could buy because I live in an apartment. They were made known they had to go upstairs for the delivery. Came for delievery and the guys said they can't do it. Because they had to lift it over a partial wall which was the space above the stairs where it was open. It's only around 2 ft up. I was then told that I had to contact the company that can do it but it is an extra charge. I went into Oreville's and the store manager gave me a number to call. I was told the delivery guys were supposed to set up the new delivery. I called and called. Left voicemails but no answers. Then I call orevilles to complain. The manager gave me two names saying they would know my situation. They told me they never heard of this until I was just telling them. Horrible lack of communication.
Chris said he'd try and set up an appointment with the other company. That it wasn't my issue to begin with. Then I was told it would be an extra $150 delivery. Even though I paid $100 for the first delivery that was canceled. I asked for my first delivery to be refunded. They said they would but it had to be in check even though I paid cash. The check could take up to 2 weeks to be mailed. Yet they are 5 mins down the road from me... so i asked if I could pick up the check. I was told I could next week. I was told that the store didn't have $100 cash to give back to me. How does a store not have cash to refund what they couldnt do or make right?
I only paid $399 for this stupid fridge. Yet had to pay $100 for the first delivery and $150 for the second one. Doubt they'll even mail me my $100. Seems pretty crooked to me. I went over a week and a half without a fridge and nobody seemed to care or want to work fast on this issue. When I complained they wanted to give me a compelte refund and cancel my fridge. I just wanted my fridge to be delivered like it was supposed to in the first place. Get stronger delivery guys. Because this whole situation was and...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreI recently purchased new appliances for my home under construction. Frigidaire dishwasher, gas stove, fridge, and a Sharp drawer microwave. I decided to go with Orvilleās because I felt if I had an issues they would back their products they sold. At first my contractor notified me I had a dimple in the microwave face, nothing major but is noticeable. Then the fridge was put in place and the freezer worked but the refrigerator would not cool down. Iām now over 4 weeks into this refrigerator and Orvilleās tells me they cannot help me and service work has to be outsourced to a company that deals with the manufacture. The service tech comes out and confirms the cooling unit is not working and has to replace the cooling unit. Parts were ordered and it was scheduled and then canceled due to a tech calling in. At this point I call Orvilleās again, I purchased from them and THEY should handle this at this point. Larry at the service department tells me I can go to Eileenās voicemail, the service manager, even though she is available, she cannot take my call. Beyond furious that I have a inoperable fridge now for 4 weeks, spent thousands of dollars at Orvilleās and not one single person wants to help me or address the fact I purchased a brand new fridge that does not cool at all. I was told I cannot get a new fridge due to it falling under manufacturer. As a consumer and a person who also works in retail, you should back and service the products you sell! I chose not to go to HomeDepot or Loweās because I wanted the customer service that would back the product. At the end of the day I would never buy again from Orvilleās based on this horrendous customer service I have experienced. I believe in keeping my money local and using the smaller businesses but this is one place where I would advise people to shop elsewhere. Extremely disappointed and frustrated with still a...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreMy family had ordered a washer to replace our broken one. We didn't want anything too big or expensive, since it's only a few of us in this house and this house will be sold in about a year anyway.
We decided to go with Orville's in Henrietta since they had a wide variety of washers at different prices.
Purchased the washer we thought was best for our home, and within a couple of days it was delivered. The price was great and even with the delivery fee, it was still a lot cheaper than if we had gone with Home Depot for a washer.
There was an issue with the original washer we had purchased, as it arrived dented and enough to the point where the barrel would not spin at all. The delivery guy (Mike, I did not catch the name of the other guy that was with him) showed us the dents and let us know about the barrel and told us they are going to bring it back and get a new washer that is the same exact type and model, and make sure it works before bringing it over the next day. He did not feel comfortable installing this washer if it may not have worked and I am extremely happy he was very honest with us.
They were very prompt bringing it over this morning. (This time the driver was Austin Titus and I did not catch the name of the other guy with him)
They were also friendly and helpful, and very quick to remove the old washer and install the new one.
Absolutely amazing customer service from this company, as well as the products being at good prices and working as they should. I will forever suggest Orville's home appliances to anybody who is looking for appliances for their home. As well as only purchasing from Orville's...
