Went here to see shock treatment which had a live cast by THE FRANCIS BACON EXPERIMENT! The place is small but feels inviting, drinks are relatively cheap (1 bottle of water and 2 kona beers for 11 dollars). Everyone there was extremely friendly and nice. Seating isn't raised so sitting in the back is hard to see. This was a fun experience and would highly recommend going there.

What a fantastic venue. Had a small private party there, showing of a movie, pizza, popcorn. Absolutely outstanding and very reasonably priced. Even the concession stand prices don't make you feel like you need to take out a HELOC. Some really cool posters on the walls, and the theater room is big enough for 40 people. Very positive experience.

Love this place. Been here twice and will be returning many more times. Unique movie theater where you can enjoy old skool movies, VERY reasonable prices at the snack bar/ adult beverage bar. A Buffalo filmmaking icon. A unique place to enjoy a wide variety of unique film offerings. A great supporter of the local filmmaking community, Screening Room offers absolutely unique combination if art films, local films, classics, and recent films, as well as other events like comedy or poetry and fun film marathons. Theater rental is reasonable. Enjoy drinks, beer, snacks, desserts and of course popcorn! Family owned and operated. Staff friendly. Visit the Screening Room this week!...

This place is a Buffalo icon. I've been going there for quite some time on and off but recently fell in love again during the JCS showing. Bob, the owner has been doing this for 32 years. He's a great guy and even fixed my buying tickets for the wrong date. They have a great selection of food, adult beverages and regular beverages and some kick-ass popcorn. If you read this review please don't tell anyone about this place, let's keep it under our hats...

Amazing little spot for movies and local talent! It’s hidden in the corner between Macy’s and JC Penney’s, but it’s worth the trip. They show a variety of older & more recent fair that’s sometimes hard to find, plus have various tables and seating arrangements (small couches, bar stools, armchairs, regular theater seats, etc.) They also host improv and sketch groups and since they have their liquor license, you can finally enjoy a beer with your...
