We went there again 2 weeks ago. In the past when I have gone here it was amazingly gluten free. Things were breaded with lotus flour. It was one of the few times I went to a Chinese restaurant and didn't have gluten poisoning. This time we went the menu was completely different! I get it restaurants change their menu but this was not a positive change. Nothing was marked whether it was gluten-free. I tried several times asking a waiter but apparently I was not good enough to speak to. As he hurriedly told me I could order anything with the white sauce and then ran off. Not sure What was meant by that? So after waiting another 20 minutes, they did give us a part of their delicious tea, which I had started drinking. I again tried to ask the waiter what I could eat. Again I was apparently not good enough, as this time I got eye rolls and sighs that I was taking up his time. I know right? How dare I! I mean his job is not to explain the menu or anything just collect tips apparently. He then went on to explain I could have anything on the menu I just have to have a white sauce. I told him I understand soy sauce contains gluten but what has a white sauce? He said I could have anything in the menu I would just have to ask for a white sauce. This didn't make sense as I said, "I can't order anything on the menu. For instance Mongolian beef is generally breaded and in a soy sauce."I want to point out here in the past everything had been breaded with lotus and so I could have ordered it with a white sauce. Now I can't tell what to order. And the waiter was incredibly unhelpful and treated me like a waste of time! In the past the amazing service was a reason to come back. After this very brief exchange he huffed and ran off still leaving my partner and I with questions. As we were both starving and we were done with being treated with disdain as lowly inconveniences we got up and left and went to kabob and Curry where we were treated promptly and courteously as always. This is unfortunate because in the past both my partner and I thought this to be one of the best restaurants with the best service we had ever been to....

I really wanted to give this restaurant 5 stars, but after dinner tonight, I couldn't. Here's the good & the bad.

The good: It's always nice to eat where there are linen napkins & tablecloths, the restaurant was about 1/4 full and there was a lovely group of Asian people sitting at the large table adjacent to where I was sitting. The waiter came with a bowl of noodles, duck sauce and a pot of tea. I ordered the roast duck pho. The dish was really tasty, generous amount of noodles, nice clear broth but.......

The bad: The roast duck was cut up into pieces (which I actually appreciated) however it still had bones. The first bite had rib bones and to say the very least it was a surprise. Trying to remove bones from my mouth in a restaurant was very awkward. The duck was placed in the pho like this. There were no knives on the table so I had to actually pick up the duck with my bare hands to eat around the bones.

In conclusion: The bone thing was a big deal for me. Absent of that I would have given this place 5 stars, however when you put your diners at risk of choking its an issue.

I would eat here again, but i would make sure to ask if bones will be removed from the meat before its served. To be safe, I might just stay away from...

We have been to Red Pepper many times before and have enjoyed our meals yesterday October 26th we went for a early dinner my sister my elderly mother and myself. there was only two other patrons in the restaurant we were seated immediately there was a fly buzzing around annoying us but we just tried to ignore it, by the time our food came there was several flies buzzing around and there was several of them on the wall next to where we were sitting. when we were served our food we could not enjoy ourselves eat our meal without the distress of worrying about them flying in our food so we asked the waiter pack all of our food up that we were leaving due to the Flies he was very kind said he was sorry and told us to talk to the owner's wife at the register. when we went to the register she said the boss is not here there's nothing I can do swiped my card quite quickly then my sister complained and then she voided my credit card and then took 15% off of our bill and said that is the best I can do because the boss isn't here for me to talk to which I happen to know is her husband. This is ridiculous not I'm sorry not let us make you fresh meals to go nothing I am very upset and disappointed!! Needless to say we threw the food out when...

Where do I even begin? This place is phenomenal. The quality of food and service is excellent. Martin and Mike are just beyond wonderful and care so much about the experience you have. We ordered family style and I’m so glad we did because we were able to try a variety of things. Our favorites were ginger chicken and hunan chicken. Food was top notch and we had a great evening. We also frequently do takeout here which is equally delicious. Highly recommend.

I had a surprisingly fabulous beef pho for lunch today. They had a white tablecloth with a cloth napkin which made the place feel upscale. It had a deep, flavorful broth with raw beef👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼. Service staff was very friendly and attentive. There was another staff who was humming happily as he was cleaning a table. This tells me that they have a great working dynamics among staff. I highly recommend this place for your next lunch/dinner out.

Excellent first time experience! We started with wonton soups, and a few egg rolls. For the main entrees we had Orange Chicken which had the perfect amount of spice to it. We also had the shrimp with snow peas and rice. Everything was fresh and piping hot. Their serving ware is very beautiful! And the tea at each table was a pleasant surprise. They serve fresh orange slices and fortune cookies after your meal. I will be returning.
