My husband and I came into Ashley Home Store just intending on looking around for a couch for our new home, as soon as we entered the store we were greeted by the lovely Rochelle! She was so very friendly and informative, she first just asked us what we were looking for and showed us the aesthetics of each side of the store and the sale going on for the store. I would love to also note that she did not make my husband or I feel pressured as she did not follow us around the store but occasionally checked in on us to see if we had any questions or concerns about anything we were seeing. She had seen we took interest to one particular sectional and showed us many different similar options with similar sizes and prices, she managed to show us the perfect sectional which happened to be on a major sale also assuring us that she would also help us with additional discounts if possible as price was important to us, she also gave us some great advice about care and management for the piece of furniture. We were also able to then look around more once we selected that item and we were offered bundled pricing which also gave us more time to make an even more informed decision. Again did not feel pressured or pushed to buy more or bundle more items by Rochelle, once we decided that we were only comfortable in purchasing the couch that day. As we were taken throughout the purchasing process we were given several options and able to work together to find the best option for us. Rochelle went over everything several times and was super thorough which I appreciate so much just incase I was missing any stipulations or fine print stuff. Rochelle made me feel assured that what I saw on the paper is what I was receiving she made the only process that may sometimes feel daunting, feel easy and breezy, fun and exciting! It felt so refreshing to receive such amazing customer service and I would recommend her to absolutely anyone! Any furniture buying in the future I will definitely be contacting Rochelle, we got so comfortable with each other by the end of our visit to the store we all hugged being so happy! We left feeling satisfied and confident in our decision and grateful for Rochelle and her amazing support and guidance. Read moreOut of all of the furniture stores that I myself ventured to or my Daughter and Son in law and I have been to within this week, which included Lake Effect Cheektowaga Store on Union Road, Raymour and Flanagans Cheektowaga on Walden Avenue, Raymour & Flanagans at the Eastern Hills Mall and Bob's Discount on Niagara Falls Boulevard and last but not least, Ashley Furniture on Alberta Drive, I found that Ashley's scored the Best in Prices, the Best in Customer Service, and Even the Best with Discounts and working things out so they work for the Customer. Both Raymour & Flanagans and Lake Effect basically gave no discounts when asked. Lake Effect simply said that their prices were already discounted (which they certainly were not) and Raymour & Flanagans would only give a small discount on a very limited selection which had to be a certain color tag.
When I went into Ashley's on Alberta Drive in Amherst, I noticed that quite a few of the sectional couches that I like had 1/2 way decent prices on them. These were there regular prices which beat the other stores "so called discounted prices" I had a Newer Sales Employee come to help me by the name of Collin, he took his time, showed me what I told him I was looking for, yet gave me the space I needed to think things over. After looking at the sectional couches and prices from the other stores which I had all saved on my phone, and comparing them to what was here at Ashley's and their pricing, I picked my Favorite out of them all. Collin and Burt Fatta (the Assistant General Manager) helped me to get the Best Financing that was Available for Me, and gave me a Great Discount that fit my Budget. So I got the Sectional Couch I wanted, with a Fantastic Discount off of the already Fair Price, and Terrific Financing. Read moreIf I could give Ashley Furniture zero stars I would. This has been the most unbelievable experience I’ve ever had with any company. I purchased a Dining set back in May, When it arrived in Late September The bases of the table were very wobbly, and the table was extremely unsafe. I was told by the delivery driver that it was because of the carpet that was underneath the table which I had also purchased from them that was under the same table at the showroom. Turned out, It was not because of the carpet so I reached out to Ashley customer service they then told me they would send a technician out which took another few weeks. The technician was in my house for less than five minutes, Told me they needed to re-order and exchange the bases…… It’s now January. The “new” bases just arrived. They are also WOBBLY and SCRATCHED, I reached out to customer service and asked them for some sort of compensation since it has now been 8 months since I’ve paid for a table that I can’t use, they continues to tell me that because of the discounts I received at purchase(salesman sold me on all these discounts) they can’t offer no more then $100 in a GIFT CARD.
I feel like I was scammed into buying a defective item at a discounted rate but was told it was new. This table has been paid in FULL and the best they can offer is to “reorder” new bases which could take another 3 months. Or $100 gift card.
Safe to say I’d never purchase anything from Ashely again and I’d implore anyone to do the same. There’s plenty of better furniture stores out there that won’t tell you to get their credit card in order to receive all the discounts but then proceed to send a defective item and say because of the discounts we can’t give you any additional compensation
