I was in Walmart this morning and I had about 25-30 items. Both ends of self checkout was open and 1 register with a long line. I always use self checkout because I prefer it. There was no other customers at self checkout at this time. The cashier says Iām sorry but this is 20 items or less. I told her I wanted to do it myself so there wasnāt so many hands on my groceries (corona hello) is there a self checkout I can use. She looks around with her hand on her chin with a puzzled look on her face. I said never mind, by the time you figure it out I can be done, so I proceeded to cash out. I got 3/4 of the way through and it stops and says to wait for assistance. So now there are 2 cashiers standing there talking about me. I wait for them to finish and nicely ask them to please clear the error so I can proceed. They continued to ignore me so after a few moments I said I know your ignoring me because I have more than 20 items but if you could please let me proceed. The one cashier says ā I just got here, I donāt know what your problem isā , the other girl keeps head turned peering over the registers. So now Iām getting upset and feeling embarrassed actually. An older gentleman approaches me telling me I need to go to the regular register. I explained again that I didnāt want any more people touching my stuff than need be. He then told me that if thatās the case then I need to leave the store. Guess what I did......I know times are tough and people are stressed but since when do you get kicked out of a store because you are several items over using express lane? Just one more thing......there was no one in line for the self check out, I was the only one. Nor was there any signs saying it was express. I feel kind of humiliated to be honest. This is not the first problem I have had in this store but it...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreIām still a loyal Price Chopper, Market 32.., shopper. Instead of going 3-4 times a week, Iām lucky if I make it once now. I donāt know why, but I cannot get use to the ānewālayout of store... I donāt enjoy shopping as much as I use too, I still canāt find things... I love some changes- it looks nice inside, the fresh food options are better. There are lots of newer options, which we needed in Amsterdam, things we couldnāt find anywhere else. So- overall, thereās much more positive about Price Chopper, besides me not finding my way around! I think itās the best Grocery Store we have, and in the Sanford Farm Shopping Center. As for everyone who works there, I would give 10 stars just for their Customer Service, if possible!!! They are always so kind and helpful. As well as knowledgeable about whatever you might need!! For that reason alone, it remains...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreI'm only reviewing this place because I am tired of Google asking me to review it. Sanford Farm Shopping Center is your average, run-of-the-mill stripmall. A bunch of store fronts, most of which are occupied but some vacant, a couple anchor stores on either end, and the random banks and fast food joints in the parking lot.
Now please, Google, stop asking me to review what is essentially a parking lot!
Update January 2023: Only updating because once again Google is annoying me about it. That is all.
Update July 2023: Only updating because once again Google is annoying me about it. Other than the two creators growing at the entrance from NY 30 North, nothing has changed....
