Lori Nail Salon and Spa — Attraction in Town of Babylon

I go to this salon because it is the closest location to me. When I first walked in 2 years ago I thought the place could use a facelift but decided what really mattered was the outcome of my nails. So I stuck around a while and thought it was worth it because the prices were good but lately they have been increasing. My gel pedicure cost 40 dollars today and I have found a new location that I got my nails done at yesterday and called there after leaving they charge 30 so yeah I will be changing locations for sure. Also the new location I tried gives out mini shoulder massages with manicures and an extra foot treatment with the basic pedi ( these extras make me more inclined and happy to give large tip). I also always feel pressured to leave a large tip regardless of how I felt about the service at Lori's & they are not doing anything extra. Just not comfortable here anymore! but I will say when you do make an appointment they do run on time the quality of my nails have been ok but again for the price I settled. With increase prices I need better shaping more colors/ better matching when I do my nails and toes etc. This is a good location for like basic polish hands and feet anything else I wouldn't say is worth it. I can honestly say that I am delighted with my nails and the job that was done to them. Everyone in there, including (Amy) are so welcoming 🤍 I was looking for a nail salon for a while and found this nail salon with amazing reviews on Google. I had to ask around on Facebook in a group that I’m in that belongs to my hometown if anyone had been to this salon and the amount of POSITIVE comments I got back were insane. I knew I had to give it a try! Called and spoke to Paul (the owner) felt comfortable over the phone as he answered my questions. Made an appointment with him obviously and went in today. My technician Amy was very efficient at waxing... It's been a whole winter, so I really needed to get my underarms done. Made an appointment two hours before on a saturday and they saw me right away even though I was early. Use a delicious aloe cream to soothe my skin. After she was done, very pleasant. Make me feel very, very comfortable. Thank you Amy 😊 Well came back today 6/25 fir mani pedi, eyebrows..79 bucks..best regular pedi ever, by Mia, omg she pampered me..foot rub sooo relaxing.. Amy did my mani and eyebrows waxed..she's terrific! Staff is extremely helpful and friendly! I will definitely be back.❤️ Update: 8/28/24 The best Mani pedi. I also get eyebrows done. Great goot massage..mani tech. Gave a 3 min shoulder massage after manicure. .lovely and relaxed 😌
