Supreme Nails — Attraction in Town of Babylon

I’ve been looking for a good nail salon and thought I found one coming here, however!!! My first time going my nails were a bit wide at the tip but I was ok with them for the price. I went back last week (12/19/19) for a fill-in and left happy. I went to a different person who fixed the shape and did a great job. Flash forward to (12/25/19) less that a week later and one of my nails break in half. I called (12/26/19) and let them know the nail broke and I was coming to get it fixed. The guy that originally did them wasn’t there so I went to another guy who said it would be $3 to fix which I objected to since I got them done there and they broken less than a week later. They went ahead and fixed it but he was so rude. He basically slapped the nail on, barely shaped it, slapped on one coat of paint and sent me on my way basically. He kept pushing and pulling my hand in the direction he wanted it to go and kept waving at me to do things. When he asked me to go wash my hand he waved me away which I thought was very rude. He put my hand into the UV light and just walked away. When I was done I just walked out. Horrible experience. Would never go back. My friend and I had appts for pedicures. They sat us right away but there was only one technician for both of us. We chose our pedi and she put the lotions on us and placed our feet in water. She proceeded to work on my friends feet and leave me soaking. After about 20 minutes I had to ask her to take whatever they put on my legs off bc it was burning. After another 5-10 minutes I took my feet out of the tub bc they were turning into prunes (30 minutes in the tub at this point). I sat and waited another 20 minutes for her to finish my friend’s pedi and massage. The owner came over and said they were really busy today and for our problems he will give each of us a free decoration on one toe. I said no thank you I’m not going to have my friend sit here for another 45 minutes while I get a pedi. We had appts. They took a man who walked in right after us in for a pedi instead of giving me that technician. Very poor service. I walked out and refused to pay anything. I decided to go here today since my regular place does not take appointments on Sundays and I did not feel like waiting. I walked in without an appointment and was seated right away. The girl did a wonderful job on my nails even if it did take an hour. I requested her to cut my nails a little shorter since they were long. She didn’t cut them short enough for me but then again that was my fault I should’ve told her to make them shorter. All in all the place can use a good cleaning the tables were dirty the mirrors were dirty and being that they had the front door and the back door open there were flies all around. The price is very reasonable and I would definitely go back there again. The lack of cleanliness is the reason for the four stars...
