Lindenhurst Bagels & Deli — Restaurant in Town of Babylon

The way I was just treated here after I bought food and sat down to eat it I wasn't even asked if I wanted to stay and eat they threw my food in a bag trying to tell me to leave then after I finished eating I had to use the restroom I waited outside the restroom door for 7 minutes while a very short old woman started telling me rudely oh someone is in there they are probably cleaning it I'm confused by what she was saying bc finally the employee came out who was obviously in there texting and when I went to use the bathroom I was completely disgusted by it I mean it is covered in green rust it looks like it has never been cleaned ever before. When I exited the bathroom the old short woman had shut the side door on me and hid in the back so I spoke aloud to them that I was disgusted w how I was treated just bc I needed to use the restroom and they should be ashamed of themselves I enjoy coming to this bagel store but this experience for sure put a bad taste in my mouth. I wish the owner was there to see it truly I'm disgusted with their behavior..maybe it's bc I didn't tip them for just making me a single bagel w cream cheese I guess my money is no good here I'll have to find a new nook to have a lovely breakfast in...you should be ashamed of ur behavior especially at...

Inconsistent Service. There's one guy who is perfect at his job - Friendly, helpful, greets everyone with a smile and thanks you for coming in. Very efficient at getting your order quickly. The two women are sometimes good, sometimes they ignore you. Several times I have stood at the counter for a long while before anyone comes out of the back. The last time I stood at the counter for more than five minutes while the two women ignored me and carried on a conversation. When one finally asked if I wanted anything besides my coffee and I said no (because I had to catch a train and didn't have time to order a bagel by then, though I didn't tell her that), she actually said, "Well you should have said something because I thought you were waiting for food."

Maybe I'm old fashioned but I think it's the employee's job to greet customers and ask if they need help, especially in food service, no?

Went there for the first time with a friend and our kiddos, honestly toddler mom life I just ordered, sat down and ate, I was waiting for mom and when she walked in she told me she was really surprised I went in there being such a dirty place, as soon as she started pointing everything out my friend and I literally wanted to puke. The lamps above the booths are super dusty and dirty, the floor is also super dirty, every little corner you look at it’s just disgusting, I was so busy trying to just get something quick I didn’t even notice any of it until mom showed me because she went in there in the past and never went back. That big bowl of dirt by the window is not something that happens over night, this place needs a good day off for deep cleaning OR even remodelation as well as stuff and an admin that cares...
