Mr. G’s Pizzeria — Restaurant in Town of Babylon

Stopped by for a late dinner while visiting downtown with a friend. I haven't been here in years since I moved from the area and figured it would be a quick, cheap option.

Wasn't intentional, but I walked in shortly before they closed up. Trying to ignore how much hotter it was inside than outside, I ordered two regular slices. That came out to $8 Plus a credit card fee and taxes. Was it in much of a situation to go elsewhere, but was not happy with the pricing. Also a touch miffed they didn't do anything extra with the restaurant closing shortly. I've frequented a number of pizzerias on the island who would toss in extra slices before they lock the doors.

The pizza itself was disappointing. The slices are large but they are as bland as cardboard coated in cheese. Wolfed them down outside - was handed a to-go box I guess since they were closing up, so I sat outside on the parking lot barrier. Definitely more a situation of needing anything rather than enjoying, and I probably won't be...

I ordered two pies last night thru grubhub. I’m in the area and I usually don’t order from here but I figured I’d give them a chance. I Spent $60. One was just plain cheese pie and the other was pepperoni. The pizzas came lukewarm & so floppy that the cheese was sliding off the slice before you could even get the pizza lifted up to your mouth. And I’m not being overly dramatic, my son got to the pizza before me and those were his words to describe it. We barely saw the cuts to know where the slices were which is a pet peeve to me when you try to pick up the slice and then it’s ripping or cheese is ripping off bc the slices weren’t cut properly. The pizza tasted good enough but for the price and the condition of the pizza I would’ve rather ordered from somewhere else.

I did like that they were open late on a Saturday night because we were ordering...

The worst customer service ever!!! They screwed up our order then the girl was condescending and rude. She told me that they have a million customers so my business didn’t matter. And she was mocking me to someone else there and was saying why can’t we just eat what they delivered. They delivered the wrong meal and said they need it back and will bring the correct one. When I asked for a refund instead they said they would have to pick up the wrong dinner. We agreed then they called back and said we would have to go there to sign the refund receipt. We refused and she finally said they would bring the receipt and the originally ordered dinner( 1 hour after we ate already). She hung up on us 2 times and was so rude!!!! I will never ever order from here again, and they clearly don’t...
