Do NOT go here. Yesterday my phone went from cracked to barely working so since I was desperate, I went to the closest place to fix my phone which happened to be the Shirley ifixscreens. Not only was the price VERY steep ($127 for the screen, additional $30 for the rest of the face), I left my phone in their care and when I came back, a function that was previously available and working (unlocking my iPhone 6 with my fingerprint) was no more. The lady charged me an additional $15 (discounted from $50) to fix and replace my button. I never agreed to this change nor the additional cost - it was done without my knowledge until I went to pick up my phone. I was upset because the button wasn't an issue when I dropped it off, just my screen, but I decided not to care until I realized that the fingerprint option was no longer available. I called the lady to discuss it and she barely let me talk - she kept cutting me off and gave me about four different reasons on why it was no longer available. One was that anytime you fix a phone, that feature becomes void (false), another was that she had to choose between replacing the button or the LED screen (something that should have been discussed before working on my phone in general). I got off the phone with her, only for her to call me back to repeat what she already told me after talking to her manager. She also stated she wanted me to be happy so I would leave her a good review online. What a laugh. I wish I had checked the reviews before desperately going to ifixscreens because not only would I have saved myself the hassle, but the next day I decided to stop at my local cell provider's location to have a quote on what it would have cost if I just went to them and they said $160 with the button fully operational. So tell me how $187 ($172 plus tax) later, terrible customer service, and the loss of a feature later, I'm supposed to be happy with...
Read moreThis should definitely not be your first choice for repair shops. Brought my Google Pixel 2 to be revived. The battery was nowhere near but it used to be. Also needed a back glass replaced. They had a water both parts. The battery took longer than expected. I got a phone call saying the backlight was destroyed more than likely due to the heat gun used to get the display off. Then found out the display was destroyed but was fine before not even a scratch. They picked up half the cost of the new screen because they were at fault. I got the call finally to come pick up the phone and was extremely disappointed. There was an air gap between the screen and the body of the phone. I could get my fingernail underneath it all the way around. I figured I would try to powering it up and looked at the side of the phone and the SIM card and tray were missing which they could not find. The woman there who did not do the repair was actually very nice. She said come back and she would get the phone up to snuff. She agreed it was not repaired properly. I picked it up in an hour or two after receiving a phone call and the screen was where it should be and they managed to find the SIM card and Trey. I then tried powering up the phone and the battery had no charge. Wonderful. The full bill ran just over $100 which is a lot cheaper than another phone. I would not make this my first choice for repair places. Shop around first. Beware. I think next time I'll go to battlegrounds over on William Floyd parkway. They've always been fair and have always done...
Read moreWould rate no stars if i could. It has been over a month since dropping off an ipad for a broken screen repair and it has still not been fixed. We dropped tablet off on the 15th of january they called on the 16th saying it was ready. We came in about a week later and we were told it was still not ready. The guy said he would call us when it is ready. He never called back. Now on the 19th of February the tablet is still not ready and I am going to now wait in the store with the front desk lady until someone to get back to get my broken tablet out of a safe so I can take it elsewhere. This place is an absolute joke. They actually had the nerve to tell me on the phone all screen repairs are done within 24 hours. Plqce is not trustworthy..
Finally when the guy showed up, Upon introducing himself he proceeded to pull out a piece of dental work from his mouth to show me he really was at the dentist. Also vape smoke was still pouring out of his mouth while showing me his dental work. Then puts whatever he pulled out of his mouth back in and proceeda to go behind the counter and handle things without washing his hands. Im glad I never shook his hand when he offered. Truely a disgusting person and horrible experience.
I see how the company respons to other ppls reviews emphasizing customer satisfaction. Been a month since I left my initial review and I wonder why the company has no comments or response on my review. They screwed up big time and take zero responsibility for it. Avoid this company...
