Pantaleons Farm — Attraction in Town of Brookhaven

I’m new to gardening and didn’t realize until a few days after planting 3 hydrangea plants from Pantaleons Nursery, that the red rust spots on most of our hydrangea leaves were all delivered with a fungus on them. And the orange/brown leaves on 4 of our green mountain boxwoods were from leafminers. These plants were clearly not cared for properly before being delivered and it’s a shame that they would deliver plants to us in this condition. I called to see what they could do, but since they didn’t plant them, they weren’t willing to replace the plants with healthy ones. Their advice was to spray them with insecticide/fungicide. Went Saturday to take my granddaughter’s pumpkin picking . There was so much to do and the pay one price was very reasonable. However the pony that they use for pony rides is unacceptable!!!! It is way too small for the size of the children they allow to ride it. It’s old and extremely tired ! It stopped in the middle of the ride and was so tired it didn’t want to move ! It broke my heart and literally brought tears to my eyes !!!! Please don’t pay to exploit this little angel any longer !!! I pray someone does something to stop this and they get a bigger , younger more appropriate animal for this...

Bought a $200.00 Blue Spruce June 14th. Paid for delivery less than a mile away. Planted the tree that day. The tree was dead by September. Went back to them assuming they would at least give me a discount or replace the tree. Only to find out there have a no guarantee policy. DO NOT buy anything that isn’t an annual from them.
