Catskill Chocolate Co. — Attraction in Town of Catskill

Our visit to Catskill Chocolate was absolutely magical! My eight-year-old had been dreaming about chocolate the night before, and when we finally stepped inside, it was everything he imagined and more. The selection of gourmet chocolates was incredible, perfectly crafted to delight both kids and adults. Every bite was delicious, from the rich chocolate to the heavenly brownies and even the coffee (a must-try for grownups!).

What really made the experience unforgettable was the staff. The owner and team were so warm, pleasant, and genuinely kind. Their positivity filled the shop, making us feel so welcome. What stood out most was how their welcoming spirit wasn’t just for my child, they created an environment that felt inclusive and positive- which made our experience even more meaningful. To top it off, my son was gifted a t-shirt to remember this special “chocolate dream come true” moment- such a thoughtful touch that made his day!

Exactly what catskill's been missing!

For many years now since the Candyman, Catskills longest lasting and most popular candy store close down. There is not been a reliable place to get quality chocolate in the same quantity, and with that same level of expertise.

Well Catskills prayers have been answered, and now Catskill has arguably the best chocolate store in the county to say the very least.

I would share a picture of the chocolate that I purchased, however by the time I realized I should have taken the photo it was long gone.

Wanted to make sure I stopped in between tours of Olana and Thomas Cole's house. They weren't making anything today, but it is all done in house. They make their own caramel, chocolate, brownies, bagels... they do it all!. I tried the dark chocolate salted caramel and peanut. The peanut was a fancy peanut butter cup... but it was very peanut like versus peanut butter with dark chocolate- yum! The salted caramel was actually salty... it was delicious and creamy. We also enjoyed a delightful Americano. The staff were great as soon as we walked in the door and were very helpful. You must go in for coffee...
