New Century — Restaurant in Town of Catskill

I ordered dinner and since my bf was already in Catskill, he said he'd pick it up since I was just leaving work about 30 minutes away. When we both arrived home he had asked me why I ordered so much. I looked and what was a $35 order was charged as $76. I looked and none of the food was ours. My bf had given the woman my phone number twice to make sure it was the correct one. I called the restaurant and they kept telling me they only charged me $35 and that I needed to drive down there so they could show me. When I got there with the food, and the proof of the charge, they continued to deny it telling me that food was my order and they only charged me $35. We went back and fourth for about 15 minutes of them telling me that some other guy was my bf, that was my order, and they didn't charge me. They weren't listening to anything I was saying. After being called a liar multiple times, I was yelling and my eyes were starting to tear up from aggravation. I was ready to go across the street and get Catskill pd to mediate the situation when they finally ended up remaking my order- because they gave mine away to someone else- so I waited 10 more minutes and they gave me cash for the overcharge. With all the driving and everything, it took me an hour to get it straightened out, let alone the gas and aggravation. I didn't like being called a liar repeatedly, even with the evidence clear as day in front of them and being told that it was also my bfs fault for paying it. We stopped a man in the street who was coming out of this restaurant to ask if it was good and he said “the chicken and broccoli slaps - you should tear it up” and we were intrigued. And let me tell you - this does indeed slap. We got the beef and broccoli, the shrimp fried rice, and the general tso’s chicken and everything was fantastic. i’m vegetarian and I ordered vegetable dumplings and they gave me pork dumplings and when i told them what happened they refused to give me vegetable dumplings without letting them throw away the pork dumplings they had already given me. So basically they made me choose between wasting animal meat and then throwing it away and making me pay for extra dumplings that I had already ordered in the first place.
