Been frequenting this place a decent amount because it's close and most everyone is super friendly and helpful. I ordered 1/2 oz of a 26% Sativa called Purple Thai along with a 1/4 of amnesia haze. It was 130.00 for the 1/2 which is not cheap but hey if it's good, well worth it. Well….the weed I received was 20% THC and it was horrible. Minimal odor, minimal taste and ridiculously dry. I did not realize what the label said until after it had been smoked. They also advertised 1/8 for 44.00 at 20%thc. this is what I thought I had been given on accident,, not realizing that cheap price was for the eighth. Regardless, their site advertised 26% and I paid 130.00 for it but was given 20% absolute garbage weed. I went in today and spoke to either a manager or the owner. He explained it was all the same batch and their website must be in error stating it was 26%. I get that but I told him that I simply would never order or pay 130.00 for 20% let alone have it be garbage. He apologized but offered NOTHING. I’ve been in customer service my entire life. While mistakes happen, offering some kind of compensation such as store credit, free something, etc….could have gone a long way. Too much competition out here now. Might all be about the same weed but how you treat customers, especially repeat ones will determine how long you'll be around. Stopped into Raven’s Joint today after looking at their website for a few days, and I’m happy that I did. I have tried other dispensaries and options in the area and it’s always nice to see what is new.

Raven’s is surprisingly spacious on the inside with a good selection of local offerings and some fan favorites in the area. We picked up some ElectraLeaf Melo, Zizzle Sour Diesel, and Venom OG from I believe NG Growers. We have not dug into anything yet but it all looks and smells beautiful.

Pricing is up there for the top shelf strains with the Zizzle coming in at 54 dollars for an eighth. This may be an issue for people who prefer volume when smoking. There are more value focused options including an 40/ pre ground quarter (the Venom OG) Edible and concentrate selection looked modest but nice over all.

We got to briefly talk with the owner/manager (or one of them) and it was cool to see the enthusiasm and drive he has to work with the community, honest events and more. The staff members we interacted with were very friendly including a very knowledgeable salesperson/bud tender. (what do you call this role in NYS?)

I look forward to my next stop in, it’s so nice to have something in Clay! Thank you for the nice visit, looking forward to trying the goodies.

P.S. they are pretty pet focused which is also nice! You should look into some pet friendly CBD options etc it might be neat with your branding. Not sure what legal hoops that...

(in regards to your response I didn't ask to open the jar I literally just wanted to look at the nug through the bottom of the glass jar why would I blind buy something in a clear jar??? I had 5 different buds to choose from and seems like it would take 20 seconds of customer service to open the case and let me look, anybody who knows me there probably would've done it I'm sort of just trying to get these two annoying dudes in here yelled at lol)Use to come here a lot and familiar with the og crew and have spent thousands of dollars here,bought countless jaunty rosin carts, 70$ ithica carts, eighths of every rolling green, now I haven't come here recently because I live in Oswego and just go to my dispensary there, won't be back home in time so I stop here and see new rolling greens I havent tried, I ask if I could look at the Pina coloda through the jar and am told I can't, why the f is there a display case if I'm paying 55$ for an eighth I've never had I kind of wanna see it, I bought it regardless but this gives me no incentive to come back here, Flynnstoned Oswego OPENS the display case jars and let's me smell and look at them, for the ogs here you know who I am, not sure if it was just the two dudes in there on Friday June 27 who do this but probably not...
