This review is for 2019 for the Dewitt location. It has since had a response from the owner.
To all the people thinking of applying here- DON'T.
The turnover rate was horrendous for a reason. I see from everyone's reviews that Jay is still a manager there. She does not defend her employees from the average birthday Karen and she, especially, will write you up for any complaint you get even when evidence to the contrary is on camera. There is no flexibility or understanding. She was the most frequent supervisor during my time there and was manipulative and passive aggressive. Save yourself the time and effort and apply elsewhere. The only manager that was nice to work with was Pam but Jay made this place intolerable- like walking on eggshells. During my job interview, she fired one person and another walked out after him, then started complaining to me that they 'really needed older employees because kids these days don't know the meaning of responsibility and work ethic'. I should have taken that as a sign to leave the interview. She puts you on the schedule last minute without telling you too.
If you do start working here and she tells you not to come in, you better roll up because instead of firing you, she'll permanently 'remove you from the schedule' for no-showing without written notice of termination (which is illegal). She did that to me the day after I...
Read moreWent for Toddler Time (open only for littles). We've been to Get air's toddler Time but first time at sky zone. My 3 year old went to the jumping areas to find that they were all closed except for one (at get air almost all the areas are open during toddler Time) after a bit, I was approached by a staff member that I needed to wear skyzone socks (not the get air socks I had on). He told me they would give me a free pair up front. Up front they said I could trade in my get air socks for a free pair or buy them. I gave them my get air socks. After we came back, we were playing again for a while when I was approached again that I couldn't physically jump. I could walk around to supervise my child and touch the trampoline surfaces, but I couldn't make any jumping motions. ( I wasn't doing anything extreme, just some small bounces, but adults aren't allowed to bounce at all). So why do I need jump socks?! My 3 year old kept asking why all the other areas were closed, especially the foam block area that was open when we did go once for a...
Read moreI took my kids during spring break to Sky Zone. They have been open here for about 5 months and this was our first visit. The place consists of a several areas to bounce on. The main area is an area of roughly 8ft squares that one person can use at a time, there are 3 other areas that were designated for dodge ball, a foam pit to jump into and 2 basketball hoops with a trampoline where you get one shot per turn. My 7 year old hated it as it was noisy and overwhelming for him. My 10 year old loved it and after 1 hour was sweaty and tired. While I did see very young children there, it would seem ideal for kids a little older (7+). I recommend visiting the website before visiting the location to fill out a waiver (you can do it there, but it can be a pain if you are trying to keep kids in check). Since this was out first visit to anything like this I don't know what is a fair price, but to me it was a little pricy, but I think a 2 hour visit is as much as any kid...
