Even though the photos I posted were not taken from Croton Harmon, they are however completely accurate. Croton Harmon is a nice station with Amtrak, and Metro North Railroad, along with other transfers to buses such as BeeLine. This station can be a very crowded place at times but is a very trusty, safe, and important station, especially for those who live upstate and need to get to the City. There is also Express Metro North Service that stops as followed. Please note that this is for UPTOWN service - Grand Central 42nd Street Terminal - Harlem 125th Street - Tarrytown - Ossining - Croton Harmon This is the POUGHKEEPSIE train that runs about every HALF HOUR during rush hours and every HOUR on regular schedule. Please note that the schedule below is DOWNTOWN service. -Croton-Harmon -Harlem-125th Street -Grand Central 42nd Street Terminal

Delightful park on the Hudson River, which is not crowded, and great for bird watching, fishing, or having a picnic or BBQ.

The station was so well laid out and very well maintained. Lots of cool things to see. The photo doesn’t do justice

AMTRAK is quite amazing, contrary to another reviewer's perspective. Yes, it rarely departs when scheduled at Croton-on Harmon...but that's because Metro-North trains (which own the station) get priority, while Amtrak has to wait, which also explains why it switches tracks at the last minute a lot. On the other hand, the red caps couldn't be nicer, even in busy Penn Station, as well as the conductors. In other stations, the trains seem to run on time, and the ride is very pleasant. Other people I talk to love it too.

Croton-on Harmon has recently bee renovated, and it is much nicer...

As far as the actual train goes, I’ve had nothing but good experience. The reason I’m giving this station 3 stars is because of parking enforcement. The gentleman who’s job it is to make sure things run smoothly, tends to harass drivers who stop in the “no stopping or standing” area for drop off. Meanwhile, the area designated for drop off purposes, is usually filled with big yellow MTA trucks. So where are drivers suppose to drop off train passengers? He’s argumentative and makes getting to your train an...
