I have been shopping here weekly for 10 years. Fish and raw meats are very expensive and yes as one reviewer said "questionable". Never tried the deli or sushi. Stick to the produce folks. They are fresh, priced well and of really good quality. Beats supermarket waxed fruits and veggies. And it certainly is easier on the pocket than Acme across the street when it comes to fruit in season always! They have a good selection of Caribbean and Asian packaged specialty foods for those who miss home or are adventurous chefs. Young cashiers are nice, friendly and super fast. They make up for the hard working but less friendly, unsmiling proprietor. Glad though when I see a local store providing jobs for teens and college students. Tip for newbies: take a sweater with you ESPECIALLY in the summer. Its arctic! Trust me, the cashiers wear them and sometimes warm fingertip-less gloves, too. If you've ever been to an Asian supermarket you'll feel at home here. The selection features many imported goods you can't find anywhere else. Though a little pricier than Asian markets in Asian communities and areas, there's nothing like it around and I'd gladly pay the slight premium to find the things I want.
