Bought a set of screwdrivers for my husband for Christmas. Placed the order on 11/27 to make sure I had it in time. Got an email that it was out of stock but should be available on 12/7. ok should still be plenty of time. On 12/13 I hadn't hard anything so called Protool who informed me it still wasn't in stock. Worried I wouldn't get it in time I canceled the order. They accepted my cancelation on the phone and the next day I get an email: We have received an update from our supplier (Snap-on/Williams) that your order is in process and cannot be cancelled. Your order should ship on or before 12/18/23. Tracking information, when available, will be provided. I wait, and wait and nothing. Never arrived for Christmas or the next days after. Sent them multiple emails about how they ruined this as I could have gotten it from someone else who had the item in stock but wasn't permitted to, horrible. I'm highly disappointed with that and heck I'd rather have been told upfront over 30 mins or even an I don't know would be fine.. Lastly way over priced compared to other stores, extra battery was $42 where others have it for $29 or on amazon 2 for $39.
But I guess this is the price you pay for supply and demand as they were only place...
