5 Stars – A Hidden Gem for Celiacs & Pizza Lovers Alike! We found Village Pizzeria while staying at the Legoland Hotel in Goshen, NY, after a really tough gluten cross-contamination experience at another restaurant. And honestly? This place turned our entire day around. From the moment we walked in, we felt like family. The staff is warm, welcoming, and incredibly knowledgeable about celiac disease and gluten-free safety — something that’s unfortunately too rare. They took every precaution when preparing our son’s gluten-free pizza, and for the first time all trip, we could finally exhale. And the food? AUTHENTIC. One million percent New York — crispy crust, flavorful sauce, and that classic, no-shortcuts taste you can only get from a place that’s been doing it right for over 46 years. They know what they’re doing, and it shows in every bite. We are so grateful for Village Pizzeria — not just for the incredible food, but for treating our family with care, kindness, and respect. If you’re in Goshen (especially if you or your kiddo has celiac), this is a must-stop. Thank you for making us feel safe and full — in the best way!

After a full day at Legoland, we stopped at Village Pizzeria for takeout and it really hit the spot! We ordered a large pepperoni pizza, plus a baby cheese and a baby bacon & onion. Everything was ready quickly, piping hot, and exactly as ordered. It’s not quite the New Haven style we’re used to back home in Connecticut, but it was still delicious and satisfying after a long day. The kids devoured their pizzas, and my wife and I did the same. The staff was super friendly, kind, and helpful—they even packed us a side of crushed red pepper and parmesan to go. Convenient location too—only about four minutes from our hotel. If we’re ever back visiting Legoland, this will be an easy and tasty takeout stop again!

If you are visiting LEGOLAND I highly recommend ordering for pickup. You can also eat there. Staff was very friendly and the pizza and homemade cannolis are AMAZING. The food at LEGOLAND is expensive and not very good. They are super close and delicious. They have the best Hawaiian pizza I’ve ever had. The chicken, bacon, ranch was also amazing!

The only thing better than the food was the service. I stopped here with my family after spending the day at Lego Land, we were looking for a place to eat something local and saw the pictures in google maps, so decided to try this place. It is more of a take-out place with limited space inside, which was already full. The owner told us he could accommodate us outside and they definitely did (we were 8 people, counting 3 babies). They treated us like old friends and gave us an exceptional service, stopping by to check on us and making sure we were comfortable at all times. We ordered pepperoni pizza, a large calzone, the chicken parmigiani and the Sicilian chicken and eggplant, plus some garlic knots and cheese bread. The food was amazing, and even though it's prepared at the moment, it came out quick enough, the pizza had enough pepperoni to taste it with every bite and the cheese dripped from the slices, the dough had a great spices flavor, and it was just perfect. Same with the calzone, the dough was as delicious and it was full of cheese and bacon, also, when they say large, they mean it, this was one to share for sure, enough for 4 people (or 2 people like me lol). The pasta was really good as well, maybe because they prepare such a good marinara sauce, and the fried chicken was tender and juicy. I'm definitely looking forward to my next trip upstate NY so I can...
