Goshen Chinese Kitchen — Restaurant in Town of Goshen

Was good! Many years ago. The woman on the phone told be $26.06. Then when I get there she told me $33.83. I had the phone on speaker so everyone heard the price went but go more change and she said it was ok , if I didn't have enough which she hadn't even counted it yet gave her $34. Got home me and my mom and I tasted that nasty mushrooms egg too young with no mushrooms and bland fried rice and my mom had the sesame chicken combo she told me to try a piece and it was hard enough to choke a pig! The fried chicken wings were terrible and egg rolls were tasteless. My family had been going to this restaurant for many years and never been insulted like I had been. Grew up nearby and ate from here all the time as a kid. The staff was always kind, and the food was always excellent. They helped form me into someone who adores Chinese food to this day. It's something that's important to me and something I'm pretty snooty about. Eventually moved to another town, eventually went to school in another state, had to seek Chinese takeout elsewhere. Have been back here a few times over the years and was never disappointed. Revisited again today, and am confident in saying this is still, by far, the best Chinese takeout I've had. Are we talking about the same place, people? Because this has to be one of the worst Chinese restaurants I've gotten from anywhere! The quality of the ingredients is low, most of the dishes I've had tasted funny, I've seen roaches crawling around inside the place...the list goes on. I'm not expecting something amazing here, just decent, typical Chinese food! Just to clarify, this wasn't just one bad experience; this is consistent failure over many years, something that most of the cheap places to eat in Goshen excel in.
