Muttland Meadows — Attraction in Town of Grafton

I really want to give this park five stars because it’s gorgeous. Everything about it is perfect. I personally believe it’s better than all of the dog parks in the area. The problem with this dog park is the people that come here, specifically here. I don’t even know where to start because I have enough shocking stories to write an entire thesis. I guess if I had to say one thing people need to understand that dogs are not humans. Their unsolicited advice is not welcome and if they are uncomfortable, they should be the ones to leave. Also, this is a dog park where dogs come to play if you wanna go on a walk in circles and get irritated when another dog comes to play with your dog, then maybe put a leash on your dog and go to the beach or a hiking trail. First and foremost, if you are uncomfortable, it is a public place and you should leave that’s called having autonomy and agency, even if you are completely irrational in your thinking. It is completely shocking the behavior of people that come here how they talk to others and it’s super unfortunate. There have been many lovely people here who are sound in mind that I have had great conversations with, and have played well with my dog, but with the amount of stress and irritation that comes with people who are misguided uneducated, and just vulgar and their behavior outweighs what good experiences there are to have, and it just makes it not worth it. My dog loves this place and I love taking him here. We've been going to this park for 4 years now. We enjoy the park, the people, and the friendly dogs. It's like being a part of a family. The park is fenced so even the smallest sure can be off leash and most of the dogs are regulars and very well behaved. There's a big play area when you first enter where many dogs love to run and chase each other. My little pup, however, loves to walk the trails throughout the park. Once we walk the entire park, he is usually ready to go.

This park is run by volunteers. Come check it out. Join the volunteers that help keep it running. Donate to keep it going. Whatever you decide, if your little Fido or Fifi uses the park, pick up after him/her and help us all keep this wonderland for dogs going...

The best, well kept dog park I have ever been to. The park is a perfect size. Plenty of room for the dogs to run and play. Dog parents can get their exercise too by walking around a beautiful path filled with trees and many benches or picnic tables in which they can rest and enjoy their dogs playfulness. There are plenty of water bowls around for the dogs to get refreshed. There are many garbage cans, bags and scoopers to clean up after your dog. The park is also fenced in, giving the dogs total freedom to run and play. It is a well kept dog park run by volunteers. My dog looks forward to...
