Dragon Gourmet — Restaurant in Grafton

I ordered 2 dinners for carry out. It was scheduled for 6:05 (25 mins after my order). I arrived at 6:05. There were two ladies in the waiting area. I got rang up and thought my food would be the one sitting next to the cashier. Nope. He said ok it will be right up. Watched as the two women got their food. Another guy came in and his was ready. Then it got to be 10 minutes. I asked "Is there any reason my order is now 10 minutes late?" Cashier turned around and talked to the kitchen staff. "We are just waiting on the General Tso". I said I don't have General tso in my order. It's Egg Fu Yung and Orange Chicken." He turned around again, "oh yes, that's what I meant." Waited another 5 minutes. Just as I was about to say forget it, refund me, the cashier comes up to me and says we do not have any orange chicken. We ran out" then he motions to give me a gift card for the chicken. I said, "No thanks. I'll just take my money back. How does nobody inform you that you just don't have something that you have a customer waiting in front of you the last 15 minutes for? If you told me that right away, fine, but that's ridiculous. I'll just take my money and I will...

I don't know how this has such a high rating. I've been here twice. The first time I got General Tso's chicken and some fried wontons, and my girlfriend got spicy chicken with fried rice and sweet and sour soup. The fried wontons and the sweet and sour soup were great, but I have a feeling that's because they come pre-made. They were out of everything on the pu pu platter. The general tso's was below average but edible, and the fried rice was bland, as well as the spicy chicken being bland and not spicy.

The second time I went they were still somehow out of everything on the pu pu platter, and fried wontons this time. I got beef egg rolls, and beef and broccoli. The egg rolls were the size of spring rolls, but the flavor was ok. The beef and broccoli was genuinely the worst thing I've ever had from a restaurant. Not only was it completely bland, not even salted, but the beef was overcooked, gray, tough, and rubbery. I tried to zhuzh it up with some seasoning at home, but nothing could save the god awful beef.

Do yourself a favor, and get some pizza...
