I've never been disappointed by Even Odds or it's marvelous staff. It's my favorite pizza place, bar none. Rest assured that it's safe to stop reading here and order yourself a few pizzas if you want. I'm a writer by trade, so forgive me if my review sounds a bit too over-the-top. It's just what I do. I promise, I'm not affiliated with them. Just a happy customer.
I absolutely love Even Odds, and I don't say that lightly. It's not just the phenomenal pizza, or the rest of the excellent menu, but the fact that never once have I regretted my decision to order for a delivery. The Detroit-style pizzas are great for parties if you're not afraid of using extra napkins after people devour each piece. The thin crust is great for the perfect balance between crunchy and flaky, and my personal favorite, the hand-tossed crust, is far beyond anything you'd get anywhere else. I'm not sure if they're doing something fancy with the dough, but I wouldn't be surprised to find out if they were.
Each interaction I have with them on the phone feels more like I'm talking with a friendly neighbor, and that's something you don't get with a big chain place. Any time there was any issue with my order, every person from the delivery driver to the one answering the phone was more than happy to make sure it was resolved above and beyond what any other restaurant has done for me.
I order pizza from Even Odds maybe once a month, occasionally more if I'm hosting friends for a party, and Every time I do, the delivery person greets me with a smile, and it makes me feel valued as a customer. I've lived in lots of towns and I've come to learn the difference between a rushed, frantic smile from a delivery person from a big chain and the confidence and friendliness I see in Even Odds' team.
Most importantly, though, I love the fact that Even Odds isn't some huge brand with bajillion-dolloar marketing teams and other gimmicks that make them seem less genuine. When I want comfort food in a box, I order from them. When I want a fast dinner that's high quality, I order from them. When I want pizza, I order from Even Odds, and...
Read moreI’m going to start this review out by saying I absolutely HATE pizza. Avoid it at all costs! My son seen this place while he was out door dashing with me and insisted we try it. He loved their sign and said “You know they have good pizza there mom!!”
We ordered a hand tossed - the worx, a Detroit pan with pepperoni and bacon and some BBQ wings for, you guessed it - myself!
We ordered online and the gentleman was very polite and respectful. The older gentleman that walked in after making a delivery was also very polite respectful and on top of great customer service!! Picked it up 20 minutes later and my son couldn’t wait and snatched a piece of the hand tossed immediately upon bringing it to the car. The look on that kids face!! He absolutely insisted I try it. Mom just one bite! Something I’ve always taught my kids - at least try one bite before you say you hate it! Boy, let me tell ya, I am so happy I did!! The crust - AMAZING!! Has the perfect crunch. Not too much cheese and has sap many toppings they’re falling off! First time I’ve ever absolutely enjoyed eating pizza. Needless to say the wings fell to the way side - those too, the BBQ sauce, also very very good!! The Detroit was amazing as well and even better the next day.
There will be many more pizza nights in my house after trying their pizza - the boys will be the happiest they’ve ever been.
Thank you Even Odd’s!! I absolutely enjoyed my dinner last night! We’ll be back! I wish I had taken photos but that fell to the wayside after the first...
Read moreWe have been ordering pizza's from Even and odds since they open. They started a program that you accumulate 12 magnets and you get a free pizza. We called twice this evening and talked to two different people. The first time we were told there would be a $10.00 delivery charge, which seemed excessive since we tip well. The second time we called was even worse, new person, said $2.00 and then came back with $4.00 and then came back with $10.00 and we had to order an addition to the pizza. Major confusion! A truly bait and switch. Most importantly, their help does not seem to understand what is going on concerning the magnet promotion. I believe success has gone to the owners head. They need to review their PR, which they have lost since they opened. Pizza is great, but they have lost a regular customer due to their confusion, and bait and switch tactics. There are other good pizza restaurants in the area and we...
